Visit Wizard by August Systems is a cloud-based home health solution for small and midsize agencies. Key features include clinical charting, employee scheduling, medicare billing, telephony and drug interactions. The solution can also be accessed via native mobile apps available for Android and iOS devices.
Visit Wizard tracks employee availability, work preferences and skills that help to meet the service requests on the basis of patient’s needs. It also color codes the visits to indicate status and allow users to view monthly or weekly schedule. Reporting feature helps agencies to view trends and spot the trouble areas on a regular basis.
Visit Wizard’s billing feature lets users access revenue and cost breakdown as well as submit claims or post payments by invoice. It also offers payroll functionalities that track existing schedules, employee’s overtime and expense reimbursements.

Software was in place when I purchased the company. I've been to industry conferences and had demo's on competing scheduling software. I believe the ease of the Visit Wizard and accurate and efficient billing system is the best choice.
We can run our office without scheduling hiccups, no overbooked clients or shifts being missed. With ClockWork real time I know where my employees are during the day. I don't like unhappy clients! I like how it collects and keeps all my data safely billed and easily accessed when the auditors show up.
I don't really know what to say here. Sometimes I get annoyed if the system wants to override me because it says I'm trying to double book or schedule someone unavailable. I don't like it when my software is out smarting me.
Check it out for yourself. I pick and choose what modules I need and don't have to pay for services I wouldn't use.

August System has great support. They listen and make recommended changes. They go beyond to treat their customers very well. The President is always there to help, when I feel I need to reach out directly to him he is available and more than wonderful to work with.
Number one is the support. I am an older user and the ease of use is good for me. At first like any new software it is confusing but with training is is easy to use. The support team is readily available to help at any time.
It is not internet based.
Just can't say enough about the support. Would love to see it be internet based. They keep working on improvements and make changes frequently. They are super easy to work with and that holds great value in its self. We tried to switch to larger Software company twice and each time was a disaster because we couldn't get anyone to work directly with us, each time we gladly returned to Wizard.

Wizard is very easy to learn and navigate within! Customer support (Lynn) has always been very helpful. Excellent support!
It is easy to learn and navigate! Everything is simple to find. The reports have excellent information!
Wizard does not have the ability to export data into Excel, which cause more manual data entry. I would like to see that improve!
I have had many compliments from our State Auditors on how quickly I can provide detailed reports for them. This is all thank to Wizard. With any software, always give it a couple months to fully get the functionality of the software!

Working with August Systems has been a great experience! I appreciate calling August Systems knowing that I am going to talk to a person who can help me. They are not going to create an "incident number" and call me back. I have had the same contact person since we transitioned 3 years ago!!
Customer Service is great! The System is easy to use. It "flows" and makes sense for clinicians and billers.
I don't necessarily like the way visit notes look when we have to print them out. It is difficult to pick out what is the actual nurses documentation.
I remember being frustrated when we initially began the transition to the Visit Wizard because I had to create the entire system from a "blank" slate. It was very time consuming! However, now I am thankful for that time! I learned so much about our Agency and about the Industry. After getting the system "built" the way I want it, the daily charting and billing is so simple and smooth! Plus, I know the system well enough that I can make changes myself to templates when we want to "tweak" how something is done.
