It is browser compatibility issues. There are some problem when uploading large files.

It was adequate but constraining, and over time the feature differential with more advanced tools became increasingly evident.

It can make your life easier as it does not demand special software to be installed on your terminal, just a web browser is enough.

Easy to build work flows and group projects. Can build custom sites for groups.

Start out on Alfresco Community Edition if you're low budget or no budget.

The document manager is really powerful, flexible, scalable, and robust.

It's a great system for organizing files in a secure way - access control is excellent. It's easy for version control too.

Limiting the deployment model to just docker made initial deployment difficult.

Great option for document management, all web based and with the confidence of have your info safe.

There is no much information on how to do that but I found one after much search in the internet.

Can take a while to setup, hard to customize when out a lot of work and searching forums.

Performance is affected when managing large size files, you may want to make periodical back ups to prevent this problem.

The license fee can be costly if you're an upstart new small business with no or low funding. For this reason there's the free version, Alfresco Community Edition.

Free version only permit associate an user for administrator, if this person abandon your user, you lost yours documents. Will present compatibility problems on depend of Java version an browsers.

The software displays Good  picture quality and it is easy to use and it connects to my favorite database software Postgresql.

What I enjoy the most is the ability to share the findings with different type of stakeholders: emails, boards, newsletters, integrations with Teams and Slack, etc.

It is a very easy-to-use software and you can collaborate, create and comment ideas with your teammates. You can moreover find useful  information for content curation.

Amount of information received can be extensive and can be difficult to sift through manually.

The product is easy to use and has a wide range of reputable sources. For most clients it has served as a very beneficial tool to share relevant content.

It is very simple to use and set up. Cronycle is a very powerful, intuitive and customizable data collection tool.

It has hundreds of thousands of sources, powerful filters, smart recommendation engine and good integrations for content sharing. This product always has a place in my tool rotation.

The demo is a little bit limited in terms of time available.

Cronycle is content curation, collaboration, distribution and sharing tool designed to assist businesses with research and content discovery, made with recommended sources such as related topics, RSS and experts on Twitter. Users can receive newsletters and aggregate Google Alerts into feeds, with the aforementioned sources bringing comprehensive coverage of the domain.


The sources combined into feeds can be optimized using advanced keyword filters to bring out useful content. Feeds can be shared among team members to work collaboratively on curation and filtering. Cronycle provides a dedicated space, Boards, for collection, enrichment and publishing of content, letting both individuals and teams work remotely. Articles, videos, conversations and custom files/images can be pinned/attached to Boards, either from feeds or from the web using extensions for Chrome, Safari and an iOS app. The feature-rich collaboration space allows curators to highlight, annotate, comment and add a custom or automatic summary for all the pinned content.


Team members working remotely can be notified using mentions on tiles via different channels and discussions can be conducted across teams over content. Users can also assign tags to pinned items and organize Board items to track status or to publish as hashtags. Boards integrates multiple publishing options and schedules the pinned items across social media, using social media scheduling tools such as Buffer and Hootsuite. It can also push the items to websites via the WordPress plugin or RSS.


A newsletter can be sent through the boards or hosted on Cronycle which can be shared on social media. The Cronycle workspace helps professionals cover the entire journey with content research, curation, validation, collaboration and publishing to social media, newsletters and more.
