Funnelback review

Fits a purpose but has its annoying issues. Implement it as part of client work often.

PROS

Basic implementation with Funnelback is relatively easy as product comes mostly built and out the box product is functional with learnable config.

CONS

Use of Freemarker for template is painful. Have recently started just using Funnelback as end point and returning whole json object to work with. Also, the Documentation can be kind of useless at times - certain topics lack detail and (ironically) the search isn't that good. Also interpreting the crawler update and log files can be challenging to interpret with minimal support to improve understanding.
