The software allows me to replace many solutions with a single integrated nice platform. I like the openness of the vendor is one of the biggest positive point for the choice I've made.

We are setting up exo as an intranet for one company, so far it is really great. Is is user friendly but has a lot of features and it is quite easy to do some modifications.

This great piece of software build on top of GateIn portal will give you all GateIn features (Content Management, Single Sign-On,  LDAP support, etc) and much more.

The amount of things on the page that demand the attention made me open a few tabs just to catch up with everything. Also, I found it hard to understand and how to actually get started.

A little difficult to understand the link between some elements of the pages and some features are not fully functioning.

There's a free version of eXo which comes with all the features. Couple that with a very supportive community and you get the best deal ever.

It's costly and heavy to load, I tried the open source version on my local server and  due to the tools used in development it loaded slowly. Also doing any customization is a pain.

I enjoyed eXo very much, as I enjoyed its special and very kind team, with whom I still talk on Skype or other instant messages services.

Translating eXo was a great and new experience for me. Crowdin Platform is used for managing eXo translations, so you could submit and develop new translation by help of others.

It's a java based opensource with great ready to use feature that could be use as a social enterprise system.

It's clean and customisable and it integrates very well with other tools. Platform is open-source and supported by a great community.

What we are missing is the mapping of a multi-stage workflow. At the moment, this cannot be solved within the Staffbase software.

Staffbase has a very good overview of the internal communication issues out there and is constantly improving its functions and offers in the app and beyond.

As I said, everything with a sense of proportion, so as not to overwhelm the very good user-friendliness. There are numerous integration options with existing systems e.g. to automate user management.

The platform is easy to handle and very intuitively. We use the APP to share information of project details, sharing know-how and expertise as well as to create a common belonging of our franchisees.

If you had some of the tools on other platforms you might lose some features.

The application is very flexible in terms of its scalability and therefore equally suitable for medium-sized companies and listed heavyweights (as the long list of references confirms).

The only thing that is missing is a Confluence integration – with Atlassian only offering a stripped down app for general usage, this will be an important bridge to cover in the next months.

Calendar plugin is lacking features; some small but essential CMS features are missing or only usable through API calls.

We didn't want to overwhelm our employees with a clunky system. Staffbase has provided a clean space with the flexibility to make it what we want.

You can't search for news channels (big basic problem!).

Many features that can be used in different and various forms, lots of space for creative use cases and (mostly) easy to use.

And if there should be any issues, the support team helps you quickly and finds solutions for your.

About Staffbase I like the easy handling the most. We have created our mobile App and Intranet in a very short amount of time and are very happy with it.

If you have any questions or problems, you will receive feedback on how to solve the problem within a few hours.
