Alloy doesn't cost a lot and he's making a pretty good job.

I like that I can log the work and paste HTML email threads in a ticket. Also managing all of the computer in the ticketing software is a nice feature.

The best part of it was cost. We looked at several other products ranging from cost to functionality to find Alloy provided more for less.

Please keep in mind that I do not use all of the available features of this system. But I really like the features that I'm currently using.

It can be cumbersome to learn in an SMB environment with small teams and no compartmentalization.

Customer service is extremely helpful in customizing the solution to best fit your needs. Software does everything you need for helpdesk and servicedesk operations.

Some built-in features are limited and require alterations.

I appreciate the flexibility of the system, once you learn the different levels of details it contains. The customer support is fantastic and really responsive.

It is simple to use for the average technician and the user portal is good as well. The integration of software allocation and databases of all hardware on our network is a must.

We already used Network Inventory and expanding to Alloy's own help desk was a natural step. Alloy Navigator has many features for a low cost and we are slowly moving forward and using more and more.

Alloy can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be based on how you set it up. The flexibility and depth are what I love most about it.

Software is reliable, user friendly and you get the results quickly.

Good customization options and if we can't fix it ourselves, Alloy can make it.

We have been using Alloy for over 13 years and have no plans to change.

While Alloy can track a wide breadth of information, sometimes getting into the nuts and bolts of the data can be a bit cumbersome.

It's a part of my daily work, and it makes everything fairly simple. I'd like to explore more of the available features within the application, and I'm really excited to see what else we can do.

We use Navigator for help desk ticket and asset management and have found it quite useful.

Navigator is a good management tool for IT assets.

There is not enough sync customization that can be manipulated or adjusted for AD sync.

The best thing about Alloy Navigator is the customization. If there is something you want this software to do, it can probably do it.

At times it can be a little confusing with what seems to be duplicate areas.

It was easy to install and the self service portal was easy to navigate.

Our shop has been using this software for years because it has excellent value, with good customer support.

If you have no teams at all, individuals can be overwhelmed as their are many features to this application.

Asset tracking, good customization possibilities and Alloy seem willing to help and adapt.

We are having success consolidating information for tickets, assets and knowledge. Keeping all of these in a single place has helped us.

Our clients also find the system fairly easy to use  to submit tickets and interact with the technicians. There is always more we could be doing with this system.

The ability to get a good picture of the support organization.

Email integration for alerts on new tickets and updates on existing tickets. Training that Alloy offers is well thought out and contains tons of information.

The scripting is a bit hard to understand if you don't come from a SQL background.

The amount of customization I found to be very useful.

We've used the network inventory and it works great and the support has been top notch.

The technical support are very courtesy, knowledgeable, and professional. The migration process to Alloy Navigator 8.1 was smooth and took a few minutes to complete.

The help desk and software licensing components really save a lot of time and are easy to use. I've been able to use the software licensing piece to fulfill a Microsoft audit with ease.

Great license manager and easy to integrate. And for those few cases where needed, it is backed up by an even better support.

Once we got everything setup, implemented and tested within our software solutions, the licensing manager is now very easy to use, manage and maintain. Setup was the hard part.

It can easily shut down the wrong server if it's not configured correctly. We ended up making major changes to the Linux startup script.

RLM is a great software for ISV like us (www.tetcos.com) who sell high end simulation software with complex configuration options.

Costs overall put it slightly in favour on the build vs buy decision. It is not inexpensive but in most cases will cost less than your own solution unless you need something extremely basic.

RLM works well in all our current products, and gets few complaints from customers.

Cannot think of anything negative to say about RLM and the people we interfaced with in their support team.

Very few issues so far have been encountered and the few issues we have had are promptly addressed. Very pleasurable to work with as well.

Even in doing that, I still found it difficult to get the answers I needed, in order to determine what configuration settings we really needed to override for our company specific rlm server.

Our customers are all over the world, and their feedback in implementing RLM in their IT environments has been good.

Integration was relatively straight forward and on the whole definitely less effort than rolling your own solution.

RLM is a great software thats flexible, reliable and economical.

RLM was fairly easy to setup and deploy in a relatively short time-frame.

If we need any fixes or changes, we find Reprise to be a good company to deal with. They have been responsive to our needs and we are planning to continue using them over the long term.

We are seeking for software licensing solution in Linux platform and RLM is our choice. RLM works perfectly and also provide great customer support and document at the same time.
