The interface is not user friendly which was made worse by the implementation of 3.4.

I have had the privilege of being a part using Calyx team for an impressive span of 21 years.

I've used several of the biggest name products (Encompass, Genesis, LendingQB) and Point offers some of the best feature/price balance available. It does NOT try to be all things - it's an LOS.

It is awesome that i can separate their profile to different folders i wish to have as long as it is connected with my computer's jungle disc.

Combined with a hosted server, it's very secure, easy to navigate, and integrates with all the major players in the space.

Horrible, this company should not be in business. I will be looking for new software.

I shopped for better value (price and feature) systems, and didn't find any.

It is not designed with common sense. Only an idiot that has never done a single loan designed this.

It's 2018 and this is a dos program that is not web based. Their thing about security is lame and pathetic.

Again, there is NO communication that the issue has been corrected. Almost every update they send out introduces a new problem that then requires another update.

You send an email and they direct you to call. Very frustrated with the service.

I used this daily and loved the format and all the functions for mortgage origination.

There are a lot of things that require customization and template-setting at the beginning. This is extremely time-consuming and costly.

Why would you release something with errors throughout.

They have updated software now but Calyx will always be my favorite.

Furthermore, what truly sets Calyx apart is the genuine compassion and dedication exhibited by its staff, who consistently prioritize the needs and satisfaction of their customers.

I am comfortable with it since I have used it for 18 years.

The easy to understand screens and the ease of tabbing to the next field.

I have integrated stand alone and hosted systems on many occasions. I love the completeness of this application.

Relatively easy set-up, lots of customizable options and interfaces with other vendors.

Calyx Point is an outstanding program and I highly recommend it to the mortgage industry.

It served the purpose of creating 3.2 files. En the 3.4 file was rolled out, it was completely botched by Calyx and forced us to move to another LOS.

Horrible product and worse support. It is sooooo bad that Desktop Underwriter has a section dedicated to Calyx (Not Byte or Encompass) to channel all those calls and tell you to call Calyx.

Product does exactly as it says and quickly. Variety of new products always come available which are competitive.

What I like the most with this software is that it keeps records from my clients and help me organize my files.

I liked that the screen and user interface are similar to the loan originator form.

Customer service is great and very helpful and informative.

I loved this software for originating mortgage loans. It's ease of use and step by step through the application process was the best for origination software in my opinion.

It is a bit difficult to navigate on this software if you are not very much familiar. It took me weeks to familiarize myself.

WARNING: Potential for expensive software failure ... unresolved.

I think that the software is not very intuitive and is a little tough to maneuver. It gets a little frustrating.

I have a current critical issue with the software and its been almost a week and no one has even bothered to call about the ticket that was created.

Calyx Point us  still not cloud-based. Customer service is absolutely terrible.

Setting up rules could be troublesome and small changes had large ripple effects.

Always a favorite over other programs. Use it in contract processing.

You cannot import a 3.4 which is very frustrating if you use a processor as most of us do. When changing figures the DTI calculation is incorrect most of the time.

No effort on Calyx part to correct problems that plague their software. Phone support is aware that major exist with the same issues for months but Calyx does nothing to correct the issue.

Calyx Point is a waste of money that I am stuck with for at least another 6 months.

Was extremely happy with the product after switching from encompass.

My experience was hard the first time working on it.

Accessing the program is difficult if you forgot your PW. No simple password reminder or reset.

The ease and simplicity make simple nexus functionality a breeze.

The Encompass integration is very tight, solid performance. Overall very happy with this platform.

The ability to work from anywhere I have internet connections. I receive high compliments on the built in scanner and the ability to add documents without printing and delivering these items to me.

Ease of use for my customers is a huge plus, the simplicity of the system makes it easy to use even for the less tech-savy users.

Can't edit the Loan Officer landing pages without special requests, and even then what can be changed is limited.

If I am refinancing a prior customer or user, the borrowers are confused about which application to review when they have an existing application.

Every process activity from start to end is quite smooth which helps in earliest closure of loan sanctioning process without any hassle. The platform is fast and does not exhibit any latency.

At times there are sync issues for coborrowers using the app. This can lead to confusion seeing loan details and uploading documentation.

The options for our clients to use their preference of smartphone or PC is great as some will only use one or another.

They also like the Point of Sale features, such as preapproval letters, credit, and pricing that they can use on the go.

My only complaint is that we are not quite where we need to be. I am specifically speaking about the e-signing piece.

We are thoroughly pleased with it's performance and the technical/customer service team behind it.

The support is incredible. Anytime I or my customers need help, the support staff is available and helpful.

The calcultator that can help a client find out their future mortgage payment with a few choices. I also loved the fact that it connected directly to my pricer and I was able to check rates, live.

I love the fact I can share my info and mortgage app with prospective buyers.

The difficult portion for me as a new builder lender, was the pre-approval letter. It was very hard to customize.

We brought the SimpleNexus app on board earlier in their exception have been nothing, but pleased with the app, support, and the great features they continue to improve.

The team at SimpleNexus are a joy to work with. They are flexible to our business model and offer a software that compliments our sales team quite well.

Easy to get a hold of success managers, easy platform to use, overall good experience.

I like having the ablity to go back and pull up loaded documents and review the application with the client when they need help.

It was a little bit of a pain to upload one or two documents at a time and have to submit it so you didn’t go over the size cap.

I use the share feature of the app more than my business card. It is a great tool to get prospective clients applications started right away.

Very secure, easy to use, simplistic approach for clients, easy to import client application to LOS.

Reporting capabilities need to be more flexible. A bit sluggish when it comes to doing custom integrations.

SimpleNexus is very easy to use and intuitive. The interface is clean and simple.

I have been a bit disappointed with the support process when our admin has questions. The response time has been tested at times.

Ease of use - especially from my mobile devices. Being able to text to share is excellent.

I am often out of the office and having an efficient tool that I can quickly text to prospects and to referral partners is invaluable. Technology that frees me from sitting at my desk is great.
