About MemberNova

MemberNova is a configurable cloud-based software platform designed to help non-profits and associations monitor member engagement, manage membership experience and track growth through task automation and communication tools. MemberNova’s Engage module allows members to connect with peers through a mobile-based, private social networking platform. Users can share discussions, content, documents and events. Self-service functions include managing subscriptions and renewals, profile updates, payment of dues, registration for events, product purchases and donations. MemberNova’s Grow module encapsulates the recruitment, intake and onboarding process through web presence management, lead capture forms, drip campaigns, workflows and integration with other modules....

MemberNova is the Best!

This is the best all-in-one system for an organization.

PROS

Customer service is the best. No other company takes care of us like the staff at MemberNova. They even sent flowers when one of our members passed away. They have really helped us out. The software does its job.

CONS

Some of the web templates and email templates could be updated more often. However, when we have made special requests, the MemberNova team has helped modify some features for us.

Great value and customer support!

PROS

I love love love their customer support!

CONS

We are doing BIG things with our site and database, and it's complicated. NOt really MemberNova's fault on that, but I'm always looking for ways to simplify and save time. Happily, MN's software and support is helpful in this arena!

Reasons for switching to MemberNova

Some of the features in CM weren't working as intended and we couldn't get them fixed.

MemberNova Review

The MemberNova team is great to work with. Their communication is consistent, and they provide timely updates — even if they don't have an answer. Support has been consistent from the implementation through the client support phase. There's a lot of information sharing between our team and their team; and they're clearly working to make the experience better for our members. It's also impressive that MemberNova executives are a part of the process. They actively participate in discussions and regularly give input regarding possible solutions.

PROS

We've definitely seen an increase in members visiting our website over the past several months since launching MemberNova. Our chapters have easily been able to create new chapter websites using templates from MemberNova. At the national level we're able to ensure that these new websites are consistent with our brand. More and more of our chapters are making the move to use MemberNova websites. It makes it easy for us to provide consistent support to our chapters. They're now better able to get and use data on their members and are finding new ways to utilize the capabilities of the system. Also, I find MemberNova’s platform mostly easy to use. The ability to create custom widgets and drop in custom code is helpful with features on our website.

CONS

I'd say that their platform is relatively simple to adjust to, but there are things I needed to learn to work with it. Additionally, the platform lacks some features that are provided by other website providers, often resulting in needing to custom code these solutions.

Everything simplified, in one place

Just having a single place where all of our data is kept and disseminated out to other systems is amazing. The biggest selling point for me is that everything is integrated in one place. I don’t have to work with more than one vendor to make sure the data is populated where it should be. We put in information, and it's automatically populated to the website, and individuals are added to an email list. I've also found that MemberNova is more personal in support than other platforms. They've really gotten to know us. They know who we are, our quirks, and what our challenges are. They’re not afraid to point out potential issues and aspects that we haven’t considered. For any organization that's looking to simplify their process for their digital management and online presence, MemberNova could be right for them.

PROS

We've gotten positive feedback from members about the usability of the platform. Now we’re able to show upcoming events when they log in. They also don’t have to email me to find a member of a committee; they can look it up on their own. As an administrator, I like having everything- emails, website, events- in one place. One of the benefits of MemberNova that I love is their document system: I can replace a document easily with another document using the same link. I can upload documents, keep them password-protected, and send them out in an email. Our previous system was too complex; only a couple of people in the office knew how to use it. What we wanted and what we got with MemberNova is a system that would be easy enough to use so that multiple employees could be cross-trained on it.

CONS

It's not always easy to navigate so I look for MemberNova to make improvements in this regard as their developers get additional feedback from us and other end users about the user experience.

Highly Configurable AMS Platform

Our former service was not meeting our needs - most foreign credit card transactions were failing, there were limitations in address fields that did not work for international members, serious lack of automation, high email failure rates, etc. MemberNova has improved most of these areas significantly and also eliminated some expensive and inefficient silos. For the first time ever we have our sales function fully integrated with our membership platform, which is so important for our small staff.

PROS

We outgrew our previous platform due the global nature of our membership. MemberNova offers a highly configurable and customizable solution that meets our unique needs. We also suffered from inefficient manual processes that MemberNova was able to effectively automate for us, freeing up valuable staff time.

CONS

I would love it if end users had more ability to tweak/edit the platform on the fly - for example, with a custom form builder or easier ways to build automations. The calendar tool currently does not meet our members' needs very well - registering for an event does not automatically create a calendar item for the user and we are struggling with some time zone issues, again due to our members' global locations.

Reason for choosing MemberNova

Simply put, we did not find any other product in the market at this price point that offered the solutions we needed. We are now using one product instead of 3 different solutions that still left gaps. We're excited for this partnership and the continued improvements we expect to see from MemberNova.

A modern and responsive AMS

Customer support has been responsive and superb

Most products on the market that I looked into were very dated and rigid. By contrast, MemberNova was modern and easy to use.

CONS

The system currently lacks the ability to assign sales taxes based on region.

I'll add that I've worked with this company on a couple of their platforms. In each and every case they've been a pleasure to deal with. They're honest, up front, and they deliver.

We are very satisfied with Member Nova for our Association needs. It's been a great asset for us!

PROS

The ease and convenience of using the software. It doesn't require a "techy" individual as it is very user friendly. We are able to do so much more online/paperless features and reach individual with annual conference information.

We would like to see a App available for the Member Nova as there is with the Club Runner platform.

Wonderful customer service!!!

It centralizes all of our organization information and communication.

PROS

The amazing customer support! Our MemberNova contacts have gone above and beyond to make sure that we are happy with our software and service. They are super patient, answering all sorts of questions, and are quick to address all of our concerns. Our networking group Women's Business Group Connects is thrilled to use this software now for our organization! We couldn't be happier!

CONS

Not everything is intuitive. That said, once you learn how things work and have done it once or twice, it is very easy and super fast to use.
