Google Keep is a cloud-based note-taking and to-do list management solution that can be accessed via a mobile app for Android & iOS devices, a Chrome extension or through a web version. It allows users to categorize notes by various topics and then search them by keyword. Labels or color codes can be added to the notes in order to organize and quickly retrieve them.

Google Keep helps the users in sharing ideas with friends, family and colleagues since it allows collaboration in real time. Users can also record a voice memo and Google Keep will transcribe it so that it can be searched from time to time. It also allows users to set reminders for notes at a particular time or when they reach a particular place.

Notes captured via Google Keep can be converted to a Google Doc, which means that users can expand notes to full-fledged documents. Multiple notes can be consolidated and imported into a single document.

I love and put down memos here, i can customize and design my memos. I also put memo using my pad/handwritten pad.

Nothing cons in this program/app/software. all is syncs in my gmail and google drive.

Its a super simple and easy to use piece of software that can be accessed from either your browser or native mobile app. Having all of my notes sync'd in a central location accessible across multiple devices is amazing.

Cons

Not being able to directly share notes is quite a drawback if you are working in a team-based environment, and not having any text formatting options can also be severely limiting.

Google Keep allows you take notes on the fly and sync up with all your devices that you have synced with your google account.
Able to Pin Notes that are important. Will sync when you have network access to other devices. Able to add reminders on notes as well as locations.

Cons

There's no feature to collaborate with other people, but you are able to send the notes to them if needed.

depending on how you organize your thoughts and things you need to remember, this may or may not be helpful. sometimes i prefer to just use google task for lists but with keep you can add pictures or make drawing with your notes. and you can open it in it's own tab so everything is bigger unlike task.

Cons

wish it had more features. i don't think i can change the font, i'm not sure how to use everything and don't know how to figure everything out. easy to take notes, but advanced features aren't beginner friendly

Pros

There are several features that are not available on my standard Android phone Notes App, including the ability to create checklists and pin notes to the top, as well as the ability to have picture notes and audio notes that Google will transcribe for you.

Cons

The main downside is that you can't seem to add Categories of notes. I initially downloaded the app to replace Microsoft OneNote, where you can create more categories. However, for a phone app, it is pretty versatile.

The greatest feature about any google product is the interconnectedness of it. For google keep, it has all the features that your typical note organizer will have, checklists, handwriting, effective organization of notes, etc but everything is incorporated into the google suite. No matter where I am or what device I have I can connect to my notes and reorganize my day.

Cons

It's a shame that it lacks basic formatting like bold, italic, and underlining. While I don't use google keep for those, it would be nice to have to option to further organize my notes.

Cons

The total lack of support for note writing in an era of stylus is a complete no-no. Some people just prefer to write.

Besides, constantly forgetting it exists (which is my fall not Googles) this is really one of the better note taking, collecting, gathering apps I have used, especially when you are running the Chrome add on so you can tag and save pages to your note board. Aesthetically it leaves a lot to be desired but functionally it works really well.

Pros

Google Keep is connected to your account so everywhere you are logged in it follows you making it seamless to "keep" notes and links with you. The associated mobile apps make it easier to get to everything you have kept. It works really well. The Chrome extension is great, adds the ability to quickly tag web pages to save similar to many others with the added benefit that they link to your gmail account.

Cons

If you are not a Google user (if you do not use a gmail account or use g-suite, or if the team you may be working with doesn't) or if you do not feel comfy syncing your gmail account across devices etc, this is probably the best note solution for you. It also is not the nicest looking app in this department either.

Awesome to work with between multiple users

We use this daily for our shopping list and love it.

Pros

Sync works great between my wife and i keeping lists of items we need to remember:
Shopping Lists
Movies we want to see
Items to bring to the cabin
etc.

Cons

have to open it and can be chunky to start a new list
Sometimes it does not sync, but that may just be a phone problem and not the software.
