Overall, easy - some minor tweaks could make this a very powerful tool.

Pros

It has the capability to do a lot in terms of project management. The forms you can create are super helpful for ensuring each team has the information they need for any given project.

Cons

I don't the tool is user-friendly enough. I've been using it for around 8 months, and still don't feel that I know what the tool can really do.

FULL Planning Software?

Customer Support

Value for Money

If you are a big office and don't care about price, I would rate it a C+ for the Gantt Charts. If you are a 5 person team and need a professional Software for Gantt Charts, try something else, it was a waste of time for me.

Pros

Ease of use, the Help features are great so you can really "master" the software in a very short time. If you are not serious about Gantt Charts, this might work very well for a lot of people.

Cons

It offers FULL PLANNING Software, you pay for the Subscription only to find out later that the FINE PRINT says it does not include CRITICAL PATH in the PROFESSIONAL PLAN. You would have to pay almost triple to get the Functionality of the Critical Path. It is deceiving to write FULL, unless you mean it.

Signing up for Wrike was a big mistake for our business. They upsold us a way bigger package than we needed and getting our team to adopt it was very, very difficult. Setup was challenging, and in the end we had to abandon it but they refused to refund us any money despite us barely using their service. Easily my worst software experience of all time, a complete waste of money and time.

Pros

Very little, they do have a lot of features but setup is extremely difficult and they upsold us way more than we needed.

Cons

Bad customer service, shady upselling tactics, awful pricing model, difficul setup and adoption, the list goes on. Waste of time and money

I think there are better project management tools out there.

Pros

I like that you can assign a time frame to the tasks and sub tasks. You can assign tasks or sub tasks to various team members and tag them in comments to notify them of messages.

Cons

You can't actually create projects without it being listed as a task. It's overall not visually appealing and the custom labels don't work that great.

Pros

Wrike comes with a lot of features and integrates with nicely with various software and programs. They offer decent customer support and have solid tutorials.

Cons

It's a little complex and takes some time to learn. There are a ton of features. It feels like Adobe Photoshop. Ton of features. All great, but you have to learn the tool to get value out of it. It's confusing learning how to create template projects and tasks, and how you're supposed to structure everything in Wrike.

Wrike has the real advantage to group a day to day task and planning tool with a visual solution for the master planning. I work with it since more than 2 years, and I am able to structure important projects, including themself subproject. I keep a clear vision of the relations what is rare whan you have shared tasks with different redlines.

Cons

The pain point are the export functions, you can export your tasks in an excel sheet, but you cannot export in html to share a planning with a client or a collaborator. Same point regarding the planning view, the pdf export function is more than basic, so you have no choices.

Great product for work or even personal use.

Pros

Wrike is absolutely great at keeping an organized workload digitally. The subtasks really help me be more organized. Tagging or including people in tasks is so easy to do and it really helps with major projects. The multiple views they have available work from can really cater to everyone and their preferred method of viewing their tasks. It also helps to see when other people are typing in a task so you know they are working on it.

Cons

One of my cons is that clearing out your inbox in Wrike can be time consuming since you can only check them off one by one rather than select and mark as read.

If you're having a hard time keeping up with all the projects in your department, Wrike is the choice for you.

Pros

Intuitive, easy to teach, easy to implement. Wrike was an instant favorite in our department. With so many different projects going on it was hard to keep track of everything. We've ultimately had to go with a handful of different PM tools, but Wrike is at the top for most used. Especially for me (with writing) it's array of options have been perfect to keep all workflow tight and efficient.

Cons

There are a lot of features that we still don't fully understand. The options are exciting, but we just don't have the resources to figure everything out in a timely manner. Which isn't really a con per se.

My experience has been really good but I think it is thanks to the paid version, since the free version is usually limited to doing various activities, I really think it is effective for organizations but it is important to make clear that its interface it is not usually so easy to understand

Pros

I think that Wrike really is an excellent software, through email it is possible to manage diversity of projects in real time obtaining really good results, the part of making gantt diagrams is quite good for each project

I like that in an easy way all the members of a project can observe each of the updates quickly and without the need to be constantly updating what is the web page or email, it is easy to know in real time what each co-worker quickly, then this saves a lot of time within the organizations

Cons

I consider that a disadvantage of Wrike is that depending on the function that each member desepeña within the organization according to this will be activated the tasks within Wrike, that is to say there are solutions that some have and others do not.

In terms of membership is often a bit expensive because it is adding up according to the number of members, the rest I think is quite good and worth implementing

Pros

I was tired of using spreadsheets and found a software that helps me manage my projects. When it comes to reporting, Wrike tailor fits this to your needs. I can review what I’ve done for the past days, weeks and months. This makes it easier for me to keep track on the progress I’ve made and be able to plan ahead. It also includes time and expense tracking which is a must for workers like me. One added feature is the milestone tracking because every once in a while, we all need to give ourselves a pat on the back for a job well done.

Cons

It would be great if they could add a selection to share your calendar with the people you collaborate with, that way we can book meetings based on everyone’s schedule.

I started using this app in the beginning of last year and I fall in live with this app immediately after I started using it. The drag folder option in to any working project hierarchy makes it easily combine project milestones. I had great trouble setting up a good Gantt chart with the older apps I was using lately, but Wrike made it very easy by explaining everything in its FAQ section. I can see my collaborators making real time changes to the Gantt chart instantly which allows me to plan future steps accordingly and be well prepared with reports for the weekly meeting.

Cons

The main disadvantage using Wrike is that if doesn't allow a inbuilt messaging system and also the commenting feature doesn't look like they really don't care about implementing such an option there.

Pros

Wrike is great for optimizing the workflow of your small business. Creating and finishing tasks easily and keeping track of the ones that still need to be done are what Wrike does best.

Cons

Wrike certainly has a much greater potential for a scalable, intuitive, and robust task management system. However, currently Wrike wouldn't be my absolute first choice in terms of competitiveness with other task management softwares.

Our team decided to go with Wrike to complement our already existing "Slacks" solution for project management. Wrike excels where "Slacks" lacks (no pun intended). For our marketing team (we are around 12), our projects and marketing campaigns faced continues delays and missed deadlines, mainly due to the lack of presence of a bigger picture (Gantt charts sorted that out for us), sorting out tasks, files, approvals with workflows made our operations much more effective and approval processes became much easier once we set them up.
- Well rounded project management solution
- A mobile app allowing on the go access
- Cloud solution, allowing you access everywhere
- Workflows for approval and revision are easy to set up and revise
- Easy to use and user-friendly interface
- You copy tasks from one project folder to another allowing you to quickly setup similar projects (e.g. similar marketing campaigns)

Cons

We had to implement Wrike with Slacks because Wrike lacks any Instantaneous messaging functionality that would allow us to send messages and get quick feedback.
And while we love that it is a cloud-based solution, a desktop version (even if it only allows for project tasks status and updates) is a must for our team.

The Gantt Chart reminds me of Microsoft Access and I like the familiarity.
You can convert a task to a milestone. The stream is neat and feels very much social media like. You can layer the calendar to create complex views, and you can even build roadmaps connected to underlying projects or tasks. The strength of Wrike is collaboration and transparency within the team and task completion - worth looking into.

Cons

When testing out this app to ensure it’s a fit for our team, I really wanted to like it. And I still want to like it. For me the UI served as a stumbling block initially as it wasn’t quite as intuitive as other apps I tested prior to Wrike; it’s a bit of an initial effort to get up to speed but I’m trusting that it’ll pay off having a bit more patience. It’s a promising app indeed.

The interface is intuitive, it is complete in terms of functionalities (reminders, private and public allocations of projects, etc)

Cons

Would be very handy to have ways to duplicate tasks more easily

We are still able to communicate with the project owner - almost in real time - even though he might be out of the immediate are. Questions and concerns are addressed in a more expedient manner.

Pros

The ability to provide real-time feedback on an ongoing project!

Cons

The time given to edit a comment after posting needs to be increased.

Pros

I am able to see my active, completed and overdue tasks and make plans easily

Cons

When I want to filter tasks by selecting a folder in the left panel, tasks under subfolders won't be shown up and I need to click "Show them". But when the button is clicked, all previous filters are lost.

I think that the product is very useful and you can combine trouble tickets and projects all in one location which if helpful. The biggest drawback is the permission structure and the fact that you have to upgrade to get simple permissions to delete custom fields in your own project. I think that should be a standard feature so if someone creates something by mistake, the admin can fix it instead of needing to contact Wrike.

Pros

The software is very friendly and intuitive. I like that you can tag someone in a comment and not only do they get a notification that something needs their attention, but is also grants them access if they did not have it prior.

Cons

Permissions of the software, especially for the administrators, is a bit frustrating. Even if you are an owner/admin, people can create a folder/project/task that you cannot see. This does not help if the person is out unexpectedly for a period of time and you need to assign their work to someone else. The other aspect is Wrike tries to "upsell" you on the features. Example, if you create a custom column, you cannot delete it unless you have an enterprise license. You have to call in and have Wrike delete it otherwise.
