A fantastic, important service

If we ever get a PIA request, ArchiveSocial will pay for itself. It's the best insurance policy a PIO can have against lost time and work.

PROS

I like that I don't have to worry about dealing with pages and pages of metadata if I ever get a Public Information Act request

CONS

I don't like that I can't get a "remember me" button on the login page. Seriously, the worst thing about this program is that I have to type my email address and password.

Satisfied Customer - One Happy City Clerk

ArchiveSocial takes care of all of our social media accounts and we are now adding our website. As a local government entity in Florida which is the most transparent state of all, we are constantly dealing with public records requests. ArchiveSocial makes it easy to search and create reports for any requests we get. They recently offered their web snapshot which is going to be a lifesaver.

PROS

Outstanding Customer Service. Something less that I don't have to worry about doing. ArchiveSocial does it all for us.

CONS

There is nothing that I don't like about this software.

ArchiveSocial

PROS

Fast and easy way to archive social media content across several platforms. The setup is quick and the cost is well worth it. The ArchiveSocial team also works with you if you happen to exceed your quota for a given period. The entire process is very simple and friendly. This is especially helpful for those in a government role, as we are required to archive all communications especially those made by our elected officials.

CONS

Overall we have been very satisfied with the software. The only thing that could make it better is if it was free. However, the pricing structure is very reasonable.

A great product with EXCELLENT support

The best you can get - you set it up, then forget about it, and when you need it, it's there.

PROS

We looked at a couple products in this arena and chose this one for its features and price. We've been very happy with it. It was extremely easy to set up, and we don't have to worry that it stops archiving when something in one of the social media platforms changes, because they either take care of it themselves, or let us know immediately.

CONS

It would be nice if it could archive on the unreasonable schedule our current web host requires, but I can't really fault them for that.

Quietly effective, ArchiveSocial brings peace of mind

We love ArchiveSocial! As one of its earliest clients, we have been impressed by the easy access to comprehensive records for each of our social media accounts. Most of all, that means peace of mind if we're ever faced with a FOIA request.

PROS

ArchiveSocial provides a reliable service with an easy-to-use interface, enabling us to keep complete records of each of our social media accounts dating back to 2012. Customer service, on the rare occasion that we've needed it, has been friendly and responsive. The product has changed with us over time, as we have added and removed social media accounts.

CONS

There's nothing about ArchiveSocial that we don't like. They have been a great vendor and partner with us.

Reason for choosing ArchiveSocial

ArchiveSocial was among the first in the market as well as local to us. We met with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in the early days of their service, and we were impressed then and continue to be pleased with the product and the customer service we have received.

Excellent customer service

PROS

I always brace myself when I must use applications or software like this. Nothing ever seems to work right and I waste alot of time and energy. That has not been the case with ArchiveSocial. It's always been easy to add accounts and the one time I had an issue, I submitted an email, received a very timely response and they talked me through fixing the problem in no time. I haven't had a customer service interaction go this smoothly in ages.

CONS

All cons were fixed satisfactorily (see Pros).

Archive Social always goes above and beyond to improve the customer experience and product.

PROS

It's simple to use, and does a comprehensive job retaining all records - even deleted or edited ones. The data exports are fast and easy to understand. It's nice that you can review sentiment trends and search your content quickly by date or keyword. The keyword alerts are also a bonus.

CONS

Sometimes the ArchiveSocial search portal takes a long time to load. Other than that, it works really well.

Set up and customer service is a plus and the associated costs for the value is exceptional!

Customer Service is outstanding and product is very intuitive

PROS

I love the ease of the product and how easy it is to navigate in the system. Not only does it ensure I am complying with my retention laws, but I have tools to help me understand my communities social media interests. I am impressed with the Risk Management/Analytics feature and how

CONS

I wish we were able to archive text messages through the system. The cost of the Risk Management/Analytics is a little more than I expected it to be. I know the value of having this feature and hope to get it in my budget.

Archive Social works!

This software allows us to effortlessly archive our social media without having to do it manually. The ease of retrieving information is very simple and important to use.

Intuitive product and excellent service

PROS

The alerts are great! We received a question alert faster from ArchiveSocial than the question itself!

CONS

None that I have thus far discovered. All products have flaws, of course, but we've been very pleased up to this point.
