Very surprised this sofware is not more popular

I have not really had any issues with the software but the one time I did have to call it turned out the issue was with phone settings and they identified and fixed it fast.

PROS

After using many other phone systems this is the most streamline and reliable. But overall I feel the best part is the price for the amount of features and support.

Actual Product does work pretty well, but service not so much

We have over 100 extensions with a portion of them as a call center. The reporting is the one function that was promised that was NOT fulfilled. The real problem is that everything takes forever. When there is an outage you open a case with someone who it is difficult to communicate with. If you need to make a change to your system $75 MACD change for as simple as transferring a license from one extension to another extension. If you want to upgrade an existing line from a business license to enterprise. This takes weeks and a new contract, the new contract is not for the new lines but all the lines you have at that location..., resetting your contract length. In general this is just a warning about how the company is run and how slow everything moves. Takes me weeks just to add one new extension. There are better systems out there that allow changes in real time without contacting salesman (generally idiots) and having to sign new contracts.

PROS

Sales process was very attentive and most of the actual engineers are good and capable.

CONS

Dealing with the Bureaucratic processes of the administration.

Reason for choosing AirePBX

The sales process was well and all they talked about was customer service and give you this dog and pony show about having access to all management within the company. Reality is the customer service is less than desirable.
