Very Stable VoIP Solution

The overall experience with Voicemaxx has been stable. I would say for a company that does not have a lot of changing employees and it mostly stable, Voicemaxx is a great solution. If you are an organization with a very caple internal IT group, you might look into anther provider that has more features and flexibility to make changes internally. Voicemaxx was out first VoIP platform and has served us very well for the past 10 years. We are very grateful that West was a partner for so many years.

PROS

In over 5 years of utilizing Voixemaxx as our phone provider, we have had very few outages. Once everything is set up the service is extremely stable. The second best item about this SaaS is quality. Again, once everything is set up, quality is very high. We make 1000's of calls per day and have always very high call quality. With a business that relies heavily on communication via phones, this has been wonderful and why we have stuck with Voicemaxx for so long.

CONS

There are two main areas in which I believe West's Voicemaxx platform can improve. Number one is their technical support. The support quality we have received over the years has continuously declined. The issue we run into often is User adds/changes/removal. There have been Nemours times mistakes that have been made by the support team, which has caused issues with our users being able to use their phone. As an admin, we do not have any ability to make these changes ourselves so we have to rely on the support team to make the changes correctly. Number two is features and the hurdle it is to upgrade phone platforms. We have been stuck on a legacy phone platform for a few years now. We lack the features that other competitors offer such as SaaS integrations, softphones, etc. We have looked into upgrading our platform, however, the time/effort/money involved is very daunting.
