The platform can be used by small to midsize organizations managing one or multiple locations, and is suitable for apartments, arenas, condos, industrial sites and more. Entronix enables users to monitor energy data as well as sensor data, control fans and other devices, monitor HVAC units for abnormal operation, plan budgets, compare buildings, bill tenants for electric use and more. Entronix can use historical data from past days with similar weather patterns and schedules to predict energy consumption and power demand for future days. The alarm system allows users to receive text or email alerts for a range of conditions, including approaching peak demands, power losses and current abnormalities. Entronix also offers custom feature development if available modules don’t meet a user’s needs. Support is provided through an online knowledge base. Pricing is per building per month. I am working on adding at least 4 more meters to the Entronix node in this building. They will be recording chill and hydronic hot water BTUs as well as hot and cold domestic water use. This will be followed by several (4+) more buildings with higher uses. Entronix has a good system for collecting energy data. My initial install was fairly easy to do. Being a government organization, it is always tough to implement processes such as this. Entronix has been a great help in doing this.
