It has multiple methods of analysis, report creation, metering setups, alarms, dashboards & data import methods. It allows the user a lot of control for configuration - whether this is linked to energy management, reports for external users, or data transfer troubleshooting. Cons: It is an expensive platform, especially for newer customers. Furthermore, whilst there is quite an extensive manual to assist with using the platform, given its many features it can be difficult to figure out how some of them work without requesting further assistance and potentially paying for training. Creating graphs with comparisons is simple, the regression models are quick to create, and the dashboards are impressive. Has some great features and is my go-to Energy platform. MRI are always pushing the limits and innovating. Cons: Cost: it has become an expensive option over the last few years, which is pushing us to look for alternative providers. Budgets: It would be great if the energy budgets could be set to cover multiple years, or copied from year to year instead of having to be set up from scratch each year. Customer support has been really responsive and my questions get answered quickly. The platform is easy to use and the user manuals assist with learning. The many reporting functions are very useful and help to support our clients needs well. Cons: The platform timeout options could be more flexible to allow extended time periods if required by the user. The graphing colour options could do with an improved interface which allows changes when in graph mode without losing any changes. The support team is really good and helpful. Cons: Unfortunately while the express interface has seen development, the Admin interface and tools have not seen much improvement. There are a number of key features and tools which I would like express users to experience and currently these cannot be rolled out to express users. We can make reports available to express users but these templates have to be created manually for each metering point. There needs to be a feature to either rollout a single template or make these modules available to express users. I believe admin licenses should only be used to configure the system and therefore would suggest that all other features should be available at express level. The eSight support website is not always up to date in line with the software releases and we always have issues when our esight software package is upgraded as soak testing is not fully carried out, sometimes leaving end users to limbo. For instance the benchmarking module has been available for a number of years, after challenging eSight it is now operational which previously the module results were incorrect. Read More Hithesh T.
