My overall experience is really good. ETAP offers seminars and their help support is quite responsive.

The star graphs are really nice and look good in reports. I like being able to set up macros, it makes running multiple test cases a lot easier.

I like how the help feature can be directly accessed from each pop up window. The help window is usually very thorough and provides addiditonal references.

I have used ETAP in my electric calculation and after geting result I could write proper specification and be fully confident that I provide the best offer to costumer.

Having encountered ETAP Software as a user and a technical support personnel, I fail to come up with legitimate complains on the software.

ETAP guide book is pretty useful for fundamentals of calculation studies.

And it covers all the required electrical calculation we may encounter in the work. The technical support is good basically.

With ETAP I always optimize calculated electrical system with Optimum electrical equipment and minimal cost.

There is no room in scenario Wizard to put description of the designed study case.

Features can be a bit confusing for new users.

This software provides a very friendly interface and variety of tools that ease the process of design in our field. Also the customer service has always solved our questiones promptly.

There are a few things in ETAP that are actually annoying sometimes.

Like most software, ETAP does have some quirks that a user needs to learn either by peer coaching or through painful firsthand trial & error.

Results are easy to interpret. Default values are helpful when equipment specific values are not available.

Ease of use, user friendly, lot of tools for various studies.

Sometimes difficult to print a Single Line Diagram as intended.

Easy to maneuver through sections. I really lean on the reports that GovPilot provides.

As with any new system, the start-up was a bit frustrating working out kinks etc.

Our current system is incredibly restrictive and difficult or impossible to use certain features without getting our IT department or the software company itself involved.

We have missing addresses/Block and Lots  in the public  map database they use. Missing properties must be added individually, which is tedious.

Sometimes there are system bugs that put roadblocks in the workflow, but customer service is quick to assess and mitigate the problem.
