Our department has been using guard1 system for approx. 10 + years. In those years we have not had any issues with the system or the pipes. We even lost a pipe in the snow for approx. 3 months. The technical support team are always ready to solve issues with the Pipe, although there has been very few issues with the pipe. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been very helpful and calls me to make sure the Pipe is working right. We have been using the Pipe for over 3 years and have had only one problem that needed to be sent in.
