Visio enabled us to create multiple design flow diagrams for validation.
Visio is a very easy and friendly software tool to work with. The tool feature could be expanded for any ETL/ELT designs and provides a quick architecture via drag and drop. There are a wide variety of options, shapes and figures to play with including the connectors.
PROSVisio helped our organization with creation of many design diagrams and flowcharts for quick reviews. It has simple drag and drop features to create a vsd page.
CONSThere are other equivalent tools that enable you to design similar diagrams.

Best tools to create a professional Diagrams & Visualizations.
Overall, It is a powerful tool for creating diagrams and visualisations, it may not be the best fit for everyone. So one should carefully evaluate your specific needs and preferences before choosing a diagramming tool. For example, someone who prioritize collaboration and real-time editing may prefer cloud-based diagramming tools, while users who work with complex data may prefer specialized data visualization tools.
PROSEasy to create complex diagrams quickly and efficiently with a pre-builds templates and simply by dragging and dropping shapes and connectors.
CONSInitially it is quite difficult to get used with the software and sometimes the software slows a bit while working with a complex diagram, don’t know if it was because of my computer.
Reasons for switching to Visio
Because it offers more advanced features and capabilities, as well as integration with other Microsoft tools.

Visio
My experience with Visio has been cool so far.
PROSThe software communicates information clearly. Flowcharts, graphs easy to understand. In fact I will say user friendly.
CONSI feel the software is expensive to use and does not have everything.
