Pros:

Customer service is top notch. I had lots of customization questions and [sensitive content hidden] was really helpful and through with this explainations. Plus they are very open to feedback and ideas too.

Cons:

It took a bit to get used to where to find where to locate the event vs calendar settings and options. Also, there are some features I felt would be helpful that I suggested to the team (they seemed open about adding them to their list).

Reasons for switching to AddEvent

Needed RSVP capabilities and Google does not offer that in the way we needed

When I reached out [sensitive content hidden] was very quick in asking how he could help and sent a tutorial on how he did help us so that we could tackle these edits in the future. I was very impressed! The video was top notch and easy for an amateur who knows nothing about coding to understand.

Cons:

I was worried about the lack of customization options in AddEvent. I really wanted to make it look closer to our company branding. We use for the company RSVP event tracking and didn't like how different it was looking.

Pros:

AddEvent was easy to setup, easy to use, and my favorite part was the different options to AddEvent into your landing pages.

Cons:

The only thing confusing was setting up a reoccuring event, so that the link and AddEvent link were identical and added to a users calendar for all instances. Just a learning curve really.

Need to log-in every time, but might be some option to keep log-in info.. not explored yet.

AddEvent helps us turn RSVPs into customers that actually attend

I love AddEvent! As a live streaming company, using their calendar tool help our customers add relevant training content to their calendar, and doesn't force us to be dependent on an algorithm to reach our customers and leads. We've seen average live viewership for our workshops jump considerably by a huge percentage since implementing AddEvent!

Our customers love being able to add events to their calendar and it improves our attendance for our live events since customers actually book time on their calendar to attend.

Cons:

There's not much I don't like about AddEvent. There's tons of features I don't use, so I wonder if it there's a lower plan that would work better for my usage.

I initially encountered Add Event as a subscriber during an online course. Since then, I have discovered its versatility and utilize it for various purposes. It serves as a platform for our course sessions, as well as for our subscription Labs Membership sessions and the office hours I provide to our clients.

How easy it was to set up, make changes and they are reflected instantly in same URL I've already had our clients subscribe to.

Cons:

So far, I haven’t run into anything I dislike about AddEvent—it’s done everything I’ve needed without frustration.

Pros:

It's a very useful tool for inviting participants to a webinar or live event and sending reminders before the event begins. This way, I can be sure to reach everyone who has expressed interest.

Cons:

Customizing the widget's appearance to best integrate it with the communication layout, such as a newsletter, isn't easy without technical knowledge. Furthermore, it's not easy for all users to understand how to save to their calendar, especially in Outlook.

Great added benefit to my event!

Easy to use. I had some issues with figuring it out at first but it worked out. I liked that you could select different display options and go back to your account to see how many people clicked on it.

Pros:

Great to allow others to add my event to their calendars. I saw quite a few people use the feature. This was exciting to see how many people were interested in keeping track of the event.

Cons:

I wish I could see who added my event to their calendar. I would love to be able to cross reference to see how many people actually signed up and possibly have the ability to make announcements or send reminders about the event.

They didn't have the features we needed.
