The features I appreciate most are the ability to upload PDF's quickly, the ability to add links throughout the Flipbook quickly and easily.

Contacting support was a disappointment due to the lack of options to do so; the only way is to open a ticket through their website and wait for a response via email. This makes it difficult to resolve and/or learn anything in a timely manner. Furthermore, after a short time corresponding about a particular issue, the support team failed to respond. I was able to find the solution only by "clicking around", which was very time consuming and tedious. The users manual is the only way to search for answers and/or learning the program. It would be very helpful to have video tutorials available and organized by subject. Another disappointment is the lack of compatibility with WordPress. After many hours I was still not able to display a fully functioning Flipbook on my website. Support was unable to help resolve this issue, though they claim it is possible. Last but not least, it was very disappointing to find out that after purchasing the product you must spend $1 per Flipbook published even if you are simply revising an existing Flipbook. Our company uses Flipbook for a guide that is updated throughout the season, so we must spend $1 to publish after each update or choose to purchase unlimited updates monthly for $9.99

The pros far outweigh the cons, and the cons that I detail are minor gripes in contrast to how pleased I am with the finished products I can crank out with this software. It's because I love the software as much as I do that I even harp on them, in the hopes that the devs will see these critiques and keep working at refining and improving the UI. As of now, I'd say it's very good... and though expensive... is worth the money. It could be amazing though... so here's hoping that they keep at it.

-The monetization potential is through the roof. The ability to brand and customize your Flipbooks, while turning somewhat passe PDF's and Epubs into animated, interactive digital products that really feel like something you SHOULD be paying half to 2/3 the price of an actual book for makes this software worth its weight in gold. -The ability to make your ebooks into stunning presentations that can be fully integrated with other media make this software a really powerful tool for anyone more message-oriented as well. People wanting to educate the public and get info out there take note. This software offers the ability to make ebooks great again, and give people reasons to be excited about engaging with digital content. -The support team seems all-around responsive and eager to help with the occasional issues you'll encounter.

-The software is glitchy at times, and aspects of the UI seem very dated in some areas. -Can be frustrating to use at times. While the UI is overall pretty solid, things are unresponsive on occasion, and when that happens it can be difficult to figure out how to correct the problem. -Navigating the software is occasionally confusing, and how to properly utilize some features is not explained very well.

Not really promoting the product as a valid option to sell because there are not enough security features to protect the sharing.

Love the layout of the book & the sound effects.

Not real easy to create, and anyone who gets the email link can open and read the book. So for an author it is frustrating because 1person could buy a copy and send that email to 100s of people. Maybe you should make an expiring link.

We are publishing a newsletter online and wanted to recreate the turn-the-page experience for the reader. It is easy to view the pages, zoom, and makes a great swipe sound when the pages turn.

The process is simple from original PDF to output files. Once the files are created, I have to follow a few other steps to get the files to my website and test the final result.

There are many glitches in the way it works. Upon creating a new project, it immediately defaults to the last use folder/directory, and can easily over-write the files if one is not careful. I simply detest Flash in all it's buggy forms, but there does not seem to be a way to streamline the choices for HTML-5 only: I have to force that every time. Once the files are created and I am 'done' with the process, the only way back out of those screen is counter-intuitive: the user has to 'cancel' to get back to the former screen; there is no graceful close/save and return.

With user experience, its actually quite friendly, i was skeptical because of where the software was coming from.... And i made a mistake in downloading the free version first. And when i made my purchase, I tried to put in the product registration key, and it didn't work....So i had anxiety, but once I uninstalled the free version, and downloaded the one in the link provided with the registration key, it worked....And our company sales has skyrocketed.

Originally, we was looking for better marketing materials. And digital marketing is the wave of the future, and for a small business, we was bootstrapping for cash flow.... Flip Pdf had no monthly subscription services, and the price was to good to be true....but we decided to give it a shot...and it was well over the value of the price we paid....

The only cons, is that i had to create a FTP server to get it to working....so if you are not tech savvy, its a learning curve.... On the other hand, if your customers are willing to accept executable files, and allow you to download the presentation onto thier computer....then there is other option for clients to view the digital pdf.

Displaying proposals with videos in an interactive, professional-looking interface.

It displays PDFs beautifully and had a great tactile quality when you "flip" them.

When you add videos to pages, they frequently "unlink" from their source and it is hard to tell when they have not uploaded until after you take the time to upload online. Sometimes you have to start an upload, then cancel, check each video for connection and reupload. checking the number of files uploading to see if it has increased. If you only have a1-2 videos or none at all, this in't as big of an issue, but it can be a big time suck for larger projects.

I love using Flip PDF because it makes my life so much easier with it's many functions. If I need to edit a file or format it a different way, this app allows me to do that with so much ease. It is a favorite of mine because as a small business owner I need a reliable app for all my different files and this is the one I prefer to use.

There are no cons to Flip PDF because it does what it advertises and that is formatting files in PDF format. I really enjoy using this app.

The main reason for using this software was to make it very simple for a member of the general public to read softcover books online. These books were produced for public utility clients to provide general information to the public. The Flip versions are easily readable for free without having to download a PDF and struggle to get "Two-Page View" and "Show Cover Page in Two-Page View". With Flip PDF, it's all done for the user and looks (and sounds) like the softcover book. It gave us assurance that everyone would see and read the book as designed.

Integrating the file with WordPress was complicated to do. Creating the Plug-In required us to go into the WordPress code to figure out how to do this. Also, there was an appearance issue with Bleed settings if we were not aware to take them into account with the Flip PDF software.

New laptop, new operating system, incompatible software. We all have been there. After email discussion my rush deadline with Flip PDF Professionals was met. Even though I have experience with this product, it was easy enough to make the transition, a tool I can count on.

No issue with the software. Contacting support is only by email, just a waiting period for a response...but it was very helpful!

I have been very happy in general - and a lot of people are delighted with the idea of a Flip Book. It causes a lot of good reaction.

The software has been easy to use to make a Flip book - It did everything that I wanted to achieve except I have not been able to change the order of the books in the Bookcase. I know you can change by date or by name but that really does not help.

As far as I can see if someone is in a place where the internet is not to strong it takes a fair while for the pages to download. Often so slow the person gives up waiting. I choose medium size when making the files to get a balance between clear images and size of files but I note that people are having to wait to long for the first page to appear.

I wanted an online brochure of my listing, with multiple pages and to flip the page so that it was interactive. I was able to produce in one sitting a beautiful online marketing piece. The quality sets me apart from som many real estate agents entering the market.

I've created over five flipbooks for the restoration company I work for and my bosses are happy with how innovative it looks.

I love how easy it is to use to create and edit in the software. I didn't need a tutorial or anything. I just clicked around and it was pretty straight forward.

At first, the given points that came with the software to purchase the books were confusing but I realized I didn't need them.

Really easy to set up different sizes. I liked that the links in the pdf were available on the flip book on the website

I did not really find anything I disliked about it. After a couple of tries, I found the right size for my flip book on the website.

This is a nice alternative to standard .pdf publication, it offers a different experience for our readers and has been positively received.

I publish our publications to the online bookcase so that readers have an alternative to the .pdf files which we publish on the website. This option also provides redundant publication protection. The software is straight forward and easy to use.

What I like least about this software has nothing to do with the software. Many of our readers live in areas with minimal broadband speed - typically 3 Mbs or less - so they have to wait for the publications to buffer before they can read them.

Our experience with the software has been very good, the publications are very easy to circulate and share with others.

Like the ease of used, quick learning curve along with the variety of formats available i.e mobile, table, computer.

No real cons to speak of, still trying to figure out if circulation can be tracked, other than that...no cons.

Design and editing interface is easy to use

Output is useless. It's Flash based, which is an outdated tech that Google Chrome won't support at all after this year. I tried to share something that wouldn't open up for 5 people i asked to test it without them enabling Flash on the page and/or downloading Flash. That's not user friendly at all!

Flip PDF is an easy-to-use file editor that allows me to convert my documents into interactive books, which makes the presentation of my projects more striking, this has templates to present animated books with different characteristics and also has the possibility that I can customize my book or brochure and now I can also integrate existing audios in the pages of the book

It is an editor that I consider does not present any disadvantage that is significant to highlight

Overall a great program that I have moved over from 3dIssue to. Like the one time cost instead of monthly recurring billings, the features are all there, and I'm sure I'll be finding more functionality as I grow with the software.

Having a couple issues with some specific pdf files from the past, that we haven't solved yet but I'm confident that we will get the last issues to convert to their format.

My first contact with customer support was prompt, but their answer did not fix my problem and then I have had no reply to my follow-up question.

Only way to link to the flip book is to have it on their server. Can't get a dropbox link to work. Documentation is sometimes not readable--either it was written in Chinese and then translated or the person writing had little knowledge of English.

I will convert my lecture PDF files to my classroom website using Flip PDF, so students can read it anywhere without needing to download the file. This makes it easier for them to see any updates I make to the file on the classroom website.

It easily integrates with the Joomla web system, which I use for my classroom website. It also has a lot of configurations to customize the e-book the way I want.

I do not really like that this software can only be installed on two computers. Because I am a lecturer I have several devices in which I will need to use the software. I wish there is a web interface so users can deactivate the software in a device and activate the software on another device.

the end result of my 841 page book looks fantastic. works on every pc its installed on and feels like a real book. love it.

i am having some problems with the pages needing reformatting on the tablet or ipad versions when I save a mobile version of the book.

Very positive. much more positive than I was expecting for a reasonable and realistic price.

It looks good with professional looking templates. There are a ton of variables that you play with to get the look that you are after.

Finding the template that you are after is not as easy as it could be.

I like the fact that I could create a mobile-friendly flipbook of a client's PDF report that could be customized to fit in with their website.

I think the original page flipping sound file was too loud. I adjusted the volume of it to about half, and that was much better.

This is a useful product for presenting material digitally. Interactive features are flexible and helpful for keeping your audience engaged.

It is a little tricky to learn, but support is helpful if you have questions.
