We are very pleased with Mandarin Oasis. It has made our lives so much easier, and the customer service is awesome.

It continues to offer more features and the IT support department has been very helpful when a bit of tweaking is needed.

The face that Oasis presents to patrons is user friendly and intuitive while the face that Oasis presents to the professional library staff is that of a robust and flexible toolkit.

Whenever I need to create a record that can't be downloaded, an exceptional template is available.

I'm not sure if it was due to Mandarin being an earlier version or if the problems were related to the campus IT.

I liked the clear simple interface, without the template boxes, the best, and closest, to the interfaces the junoir colleges used at the time.

I'm having trouble finding that specific label, so I continue to type my own. The pocket labels come out blurry.

The transition from our old system to Mandarin was amazing. I was happy with the ease of implementing the new system and tech support patiently guided any questions.

I love that my card catalog is available online to families and is so user friendly for them. They love the visual search and recommended reading pages.

My overall experience has been wonderful. For a lady who doesn't like change, Mandarin has been a great help.

It is easy use read and getting used to also there is less complications when performing daily transactions by just scanning a barcode.

I understand the imported data may have been in very bad shape as well. However the ability to change multiple records in Mandarin is time consuming and extremely cumbersome.

M5 is very easy to use by the staff and patrons. It offers different functionalities that we did not have access to with M3.

So new students don't have their pictures updated and continuing students don't have their new ones shown. This just makes our students a bit sad.

Mandarin provides patrons with links to e- books, audio books and other digital resources, making the library to become a digital one. Mandarin improves inventory control in the library system.

The transition could have been awful, but any problems were solved very quickly.

I highly recommend this software for ease of use and ability to expand circulation options. We separate textbooks and general library but it is all in the same catalog.

There are some problems in the cataloging software when adding subsequent subdivisions (involving punctuation). But these can be worked around.

Once the books were added to the inventory, making corrections in the edit function could be challenging resulting in more errors.

The technical support during and beyond implementation has also been outstanding showing that they really care about our library and our users.

The Library Governing Board and I recommend Mandarin as an affordable, reliable and excellent system.

Very userfriendly software with unlimited bulk import options which saves a lot of time and is very efficient. The customer service very patient and helpful and is alway available.

The exporting requires choosing  which data columns to export. The PDF catalog feature is limited as we cannot choose the size of the product image.

Everything is simple and clear to navigate through.

Not much to complain about, because the team is still relatively small it can take a while for some suggestions to be implemented but this is more of an inconvenience than an issue.

PIM helps us to manage product information and cut down on the manual process we need to do especially when we need to integrate the product information into our other platforms.

Our wish is to be able to generate beautifully arranged and visually appealing data sheets with Index.
