Pros/Cons
Pros
- The electronic raw data designed by caliber is very nice it is very similar to traditional raw data style and COA template is very good.
- Good in Sample Workflows, Inventory modules, Audit trails and many useful reports.4. Good in compliance way, no one has rights to “DELETE” the Data.
- The functionality of the CaliberLIMS is excellent and user-friendly.
Cons
- There are a lot of unacceptable bugs or design flaws in the software that should have been caught during their QC or QA testing.
- Less user friendly and poor presentation of report/audit trail with limited sorting/filtering functions. Poor notification/alert system for pending activities in all modules.
- Confronting the developers, they told us this was a bug "due to several samples being added to the system at the same time, causing the software logic to fail at the backend.
Pros
- The support team at CDD is exceptionally responsive and helpful, allowing all our requests to be promptly and effectively answered.
- I decided to implement CDD Vault in my project not only for the features of the software but particularly for the openness and willingness to innovate shown by the CDD Team, fantastic people.
- Really excellent customer service that supports a perfect database for novice users.
Cons
- No possibilty to customize scale on the Y axis on graph.
- As a medicinal chemist who grew up with MDL, there's not much here to complain about. There a few interface conventions that take a little time to get used to.
- No big complaints - CDD is constantly improving and adding to their features.
