Cons: Some of the formats and limitations on sections of the app are annoying. Accident forms are lost if the screen times out- there will be no draft. When downloading the accidents the format of CSV confuses the information and it is not clear. A PDF or word doc format would also be brilliant. Staffing attendance and child attendance would be better if managers could adjust the times more easily. The sign in and out page, could be improved by being able to sign more than one in at once and not have to add a leave time. If the interaction with Xero was faster, i.e like banks electronically update Xero with the balances- it would be good if Famly interacted in the same way. Waiting list for sessions, for existing children already enrolled would also be so much better. Reasons for choosing Famly There were several other options not listed on your choices above. We liked the free trial's and customer support plus the ever evolving development to keep the service current and user friendly. I like the overview page where I can see everything and I don't have to keep logging into seperate children, so I can get all of the information I need in one easy way. We have 11 rooms to monitor at our Nursery, so to get the information in one screen is perfect for us. We find sending messages to parents and staff very easy now, it is like a facebook page, but just for our parents and staff. Cons: We would like to not send out all accident forms and meals straight away, we would like to only publish later on in the day, this is because parents disturb your busy day by ringing, everytime they get a message if they are a concerned parent. We would have preferred a trainer to help set us up, rather than the face to face online training we got. Reasons for choosing Famly User friendly screens and everything on one system. Reasons for switching to Famly After 4 years of use, it started to go wrong, we lost information that we had stored and updates kept making everything go wrong, or at least change. Transferring over from our previous software to Famly was initially nerve racking as we didn't want to lose any data, unsure if the new software would suit our needs and the biggest hurdle, we would all have to learn a new system all over again! But the training given was brilliant, clear and effective. Famly staff were always on hand to answer any questions and guide us when needed. Our staff are now confident and use the software daily with no problems at all. As the leader I'm delighted - it does so much that we need, and it keeps getting better. The onboarding team were very helpful. As we've used it the main things I really value include - the invoices being simple, accurate, and easy to do; tracking children's progress is easy and has customisations that make it work for us; and the team find it easy to use - they have a variety of skills and competences as any team do but even the most techniphobic can sign in and out. Cons: If I had to choose a niggle then - we run our nursery day quite differently, and I can't use the overview of bookings to see where we have spaces I can sell. Reasons for choosing Famly The ability to properly test Famly out, and the way the team really listened to what our pressure points were with Blossom made us feel that we were being taken seriously. It does what we want in one package. Reasons for switching to Famly Blossom's system and customer service were good, but their system isn't as customisable.
