Breeze is a web-based church management solution catering to the needs of small and midsize churches across the United States. Breeze provides an interactive interface to access member details, communicate with members, track donations and giving, manage volunteers, build reports and more. Breeze allows churches to categorize contacts into members, guests, volunteers and staff.

Breeze allows churches to track contributions made by guests and members. Using this functionality, users can monitor the contributions of donors, and generate giving reports based upon a donor’s giving history. The system is completely customizable, and users can update custom fields, as well as import existing data.

Additionally, Breeze features an event management module created to track attendance, generate reports, and more. Users can use Breeze to print name tags for event attendees and can analyze event attendance. The bulk communication feature allows church volunteers to send event information to individuals and groups via bulk emails and text messages. Other features include contribution reports, QuickBooks and MailChimp integration and access restrictions.

Fantastic Tool for Church Use

Tagging attenders for Sunday School, AWANA, worship, teams, committees, and boards is so smooth. Plus, we use the text feature to send group communications, which is a fantastic option.

Pros

The software is so easy to use, very good response time, provides tools for data use, and has options we now use daily that we did not have with our old software tool. Excellent product - use it multiple times a day.

Cons

Not applicable - nothing I like least, all useful.

Breeze is definitely a breeze!

Very happy with this straight-forward, sleek, clean, user-friendly ChMS and would highly recommend it!

Pros

Switching ChMS systems is certainly a huge undertaking, but I have found Breeze to be very intuitive and user-friendly, which has helped in the transition immensely.

Cons

Learning a new ChMS system is like learning a new language - they function similarly, but have different names/processes for the same/similar tasks, so that has taken some getting used-to. While there are a couple methods that we had on the old system that Breeze does not offer, the pros to Breeze, overall, far outweigh them.

Am using Breeze on a daily basis and loving it!

Keeping our donation and people's data current is truly "a breeze"!

Pros

Ease of entering contributions and running donation reports as well as easy access to people data.

Cons

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to have multiple addresses for a person/family and activate the current one. As a workaround, I save multiple addresses for one person/family in separate fields and copy/paste the current address into the active address window.

Awesome Data Management - Easy to Use

Pros

The software is so easy to use and very easy to create (and find) a search for certain information. We are a church and used a different software that was horrible to find info after it was entered. The reports were awful. Breeze is so easy to use and customize. Breeze customer service is top notch!! Always helpful and quick to respond.

Breeze makes it a breeze

Our overall experience has been awesome! Not only are we getting a financial software that has mobility but we are getting a place to keep information about our congregation as well as Events. We can't wait to start using Online contributions so that our loved ones that live away will be able to easily contribute to the church they grew up in. Looking forward to what's next. Pros

The thing i like the most about Breeze is the mobility and flexibility of it. I can use it from a browser at work or at church, my cellphone or an ipad and I love that. I used to be tied to one laptop at my home. Breeze makes it easier to do my job! Another great thing I was able to do.....i mistakenly entered our general offering into a fund called general fund (for the entire year mind you). With the click of a button, i could transfer all of those transactions into the correct fund. Awesome time saver! The information that you can track on the people is pretty awesome too. We never had any information in our financial program other than names and households - so with Breeze - we are able to start utilizing some of the tools and becoming more efficient and we Thank you!! And your support has been amazing! I work in computer support at the server level in my everyday job - so i work with vendor software support often and it's a pleasure to call you when i need assistance! Keep doing what you do! We are a very small church but really enjoy using Breeze. We haven't started using the online contributions yet....and are just starting to use the Events and we are loving it so far! Keep up the great work! Thanks for providing us such an awesome tool! God Bless!

Pros

The ease of use is the greatest feature of this software. Perfect for the small to midsize church. Will save you a lot of time by not having to use multiple other programs.

In addition to the previous statements, Breeze recently helped us as we transitioned to adding online giving to our contributions. I also appreciate that I can listen to blog updates when I choose, not on someone else's schedule. Thanks to the staff!

Pros

As a small church, we love that we can pick and choose just the programs we wish to use.
From the start, Breeze staff has responded to questions and concerns with kindness and in a timely fashion.

Cons

We had to work out a couple of issues in the beginning, concerning the working of PC's to Apple. I am happy to report these have been resolved.

User Friendly - and it WORKS!

Breeze works better than many other church management systems, and costs far less than most of the other cloud-based systems!

Pros

Breeze is highly intuitive and user friendly. And it also does all the things we expect for our church database. We also love the phone app that allows access everywhere!

Contributions won't stop!

Pros

It was easy to use to set up contributions and the colors of the website are nice so that was enjoyable.

Cons

For five months, have tried to get my auto contributions stopped including assistance from Cornerstone Church in Anchorage, Alaska but every month my credit card gets debited and I have to contact the church staff to get a refund (we no longer attend Cornerstone).

Pros

Great customer support. This is set up well to search for an answer as well as the access to a person to get a quick answer is very helpful!

Cons

We have various leaders of areas of ministry at our church that do not need to send information to large groups of people, but to smaller groups. I wish we could in a much more user-friendly way create a leader with access to send information to a much-smaller group. Kind of a complicated request, but something that affects our organization a good amount.

It's all in the name. Truly makes church management a breeze.

Outstanding solution. So grateful we found it, avoiding some expensive management system designed for large churches.

My review is not negative, but are requirements are very unique. Most churches will find this software perfect, and friendly for its staff to use. The pricing is good value.

Pros

The software is very intuitive, and has an easy learning curve. The search functions are excellent.

Cons

It runs a little slow, but our church has thousands of members. There were some report functions that were not available, but should not be a deal breaker and most churches.

Breeze is the answer to opening communication with our membership and staff, and so much more!

Breeze has opened the communication highway for our congregation and staff, with very little training. Breeze Help response and quality is available for all users and answers most of their questions without having to contact me (Data Coordinator). Because members can update their own records and search easily for other members - and map their locations, send emails and text right from Breeze, they love it and our data is more real-time accurate. Our ministries are stronger, because they can trust the data in Breeze, which is easily accessed anywhere, anytime.

Pros

Breeze is very easy. Very little training is needed for staff. Members are currently using it for communication with each other and registering for calendar events easily. They will be continue to use more of Breeze's capabilities.
Breeze continues to update the software automatically, for free with no down time.
Help documentation is extremely helpful, many times with short videos, which are so helpful!
Help documents are easy to email to users if needed. They really like this.
Documentation is continually updated with new features.

About 1/2 our congregation of 300 are using Breeze. Very few of these have had questions about usage. It is USER FRIENDLY.


Cons

I know Breeze is constantly working on user wishes. My major wish would be an easy way to visualize security Roles for comparison, updating and accuracy.

Easy, Excellent Church Management System

I have used several other Church Management Systems and Breeze is the best yet. The product is really easy to learn and you are able to quickly get up and running. I believe it is also affordable. We are a church plant and have to seriously watch our budget and this product fits well into our environment. The feature set is also very rich!

Ease of use, affordability, feature set. I had a couple of questions for customer service and the response time and knowledge were excellent.

Database gamechanger for minsitry. Hard to believe so many features are packed into one tool.

This tools was a game-changer in our communication. We are able to hold all the data we need, and then communicate to only the specific people we need for each communication by filtering people. I can't believe how helpful this tool has been!

Pros

*Allows texting to people right from the database, so you can send a mail-merge style text to any tag, group, or filtered option.
*Allows online payments/donations at a low credit card processing rate.
*Allows the ability to organize volunteers to RSVP for events by email or event text. Makes volunteer management super easy.
*Allows data to be collected by forms. I can create an form questions I want/need. Very handy!
*Allows as many profile fields I need and I can create any type of question.
*Connects to Mailchimp with sync, so our list are no longer mis-matched.
*Allows endless amounts of data tagging. So we can add any piece of information to any contact.
*Tons of user level options allows different levels of visibility and edit-ability. There is even a directory option so it can be set up so each contact can log-in and see certain profile fields.
*Online check-in is helpful for attendance tracking.

Cons

*Someone needs to know a little about database structures to set-it up. (You don't need to know programming, but comfortable in how data moves and functions in databases).
*The form data is not saved as an unalterable .pdf, so it is hard to use the form feature as an online legal document since the data is alterable after being submitted. I would love to use forms as a permission form, but since that requires a legal electronic signature, our legal advisor says we can use it for that since it doesn't covert the data to a permanent/ unalterable .pdf. So we have to use another tool for online legal documents that doesn't sync with Breeze.
*There is a feature to group people by family, but there isn't a "Family" sub-category of contacts in the database. So what would be nice is if a "Family" could hold the common info for the family such as household address, phone number, etc, rather than each contact having that information repeated. There are some things a family has in common, such as an address.

Easy to use and plenty of support

Created parish directory with pictures that allows every member to easily log in and keep information up to date. Keeps track of all contributions and generates easy to read statements. Manages all our receivables and works well with Quickbooks online. Tagged members so we know who is on what committees Created new profile fields so we can keep track of various sub groups of parishioners and can easily email or text them based on our custom filters. For people who do not wish to use Breeze because of their lack of computer experience, it is easy to download lists (contributions, people's profiles, etc) into Excel. Amazingly response help - with videos, good community help with lots of Breeze users ready to help based on their experience, and the Breeze staff themselves are responsive and will stick with you until your question has been answered. We love Breeze!

Lives up to its name -- it's a Breeze to use

It is very easy to update information and generate mailing labels and lists.

Pros

Easy to use, great customer service, very affordable, they're very open to suggestions for updates and improvements and are constantly releasing new features

Cons

We have no cons at all--this ChMS is perfect for our church (about 350 regular attenders) and we love it!
