Breeze is a web-based church management solution catering to the needs of small and midsize churches across the United States. Breeze provides an interactive interface to access member details, communicate with members, track donations and giving, manage volunteers, build reports and more. Breeze allows churches to categorize contacts into members, guests, volunteers and staff.

Breeze allows churches to track contributions made by guests and members. Using this functionality, users can monitor the contributions of donors, and generate giving reports based upon a donor’s giving history. The system is completely customizable, and users can update custom fields, as well as import existing data.

Additionally, Breeze features an event management module created to track attendance, generate reports, and more. Users can use Breeze to print name tags for event attendees and can analyze event attendance. The bulk communication feature allows church volunteers to send event information to individuals and groups via bulk emails and text messages. Other features include contribution reports, QuickBooks and MailChimp integration and access restrictions.

Breeze just works

I'd have to say it's been great. No question has gone unanswered, and although they haven't always been able to give me what I want right then and there, they always hear me and always try to help give me a me workaround for any functionality I'm looking for that they haven't yet developed. I've also seen some updates come out that have given me the functionality I'd previously asked for, so I know they are taking note of my observations and acting on them when they can.

Pros

It's really functional - a lot of my data entry has been automated, which is really nice. It's pretty easy to use for me (I'm not a techy person - although I have plenty of computer experience, it just doesn't come naturally to me). They are right on the ball when I need help, and they are always enhancing and updating and adding to the program's functionality.

Cons

There are a couple of processes I use often that I feel could be streamlined. It would be hard for me to clearly explain them here, but one is in regard to generating the contribution statements, and the other has to do with having to click "save" several different times while entering a new person into the database - I think it should save automatically as I enter the data rather than having to remember to scroll back up to the top of a section and save it before moving on to the next section as I'm entering their data.

Best Bang for your Buck

Breeze ChMS provides the easiest and the most cost-efficient church management tool.

Pros

Support is quick and very helpful.
Easy to use.
Lots of options for customization.
Open to suggestions for improvements.

Cons

Some of the customization and functionality is lacking but as updates are addressed these cons will lieklt be turned to pros.

Church Management Software For Everyone !

Breeze has been a perfect fit for our church.

Pros

There are wonderful ChMS packages for big churches but the cost is prohibitive for small to average churches. The learning curves are also huge. This is not the case with Breeze.


Breeze is simple to use. It is affordable. They are constantly seeking to improve their product. I really couldn't ask for more.

Cons

Nothing ! I like everything. Breeze is a great value for the money.

Pros

We primarily use this software for child check-ins and online giving. It looks like it has a lot more functionality that we are not utilizing at this time. Been very pleased so far!

Excellence on the Web

Totally awesome experience with the app and with tech support. They are always quite responsive.

Pros

This app works. It is the best Church software app that I have ever seen and used. It is far superior in the market.

Cons

It is not Catholic. There are some Catholic things that I wish Breeze was sensitive to.

It truly is a BREEZE to use

I just can't express enough how pleased we are with our experience using Breeze over the past couple of years. They're above and beyond on customer service AND extremely cost effective! Highly recommend!

I have tested many other church management apps. Considering my need for a consolidated database of all our locations, sites and church plants, I have not encountered an app that suited my needs, until I tried Breeze. In just a matter of minutes, I knew this was the best fit for me.

Pros

Ease of use. Very easy to populate data, both for importing and on-going data entry. Simple enough even for the novice user and volunteers. Since we have multiple locations, sites, church plants, I really love the flexibility of the permission levels for users. I can easily customize it the way I need them. I love the idea of Tags. It allows for multi-dimensional slicing and dicing of data.

Cons

Breeze serves most of my immediate need which is a database of church people and contributions. I would like to see some more features like integration with Quickbooks Online, volunteer expense and mileage reimbursement requests and others. But i guess, for the current pricing, it's already of good value.

The fundamental purpose of a church Management program is to help the pastor meet the needs of his people. I would have to say that breeze is a great help in this.

Pros

The developers of this program seemed to have anticipated most of the things that I want to do for the church. They have made it simple and left out things that I don't use.

Cons

Probably the thing that I miss is the ability to scroll from record to record when I am looking at an individual's page.

It's literally a BREEZE!

I'm new to the church administration field. When I stepped into this roll I felt completely overwhelmed and under qualified. The only comfort in the early stages was that Breeze was easy to use and if I couldn't figure something out Breeze was quick to respond to any questions. I'm thankful.

Pros

I have found it is extremely easy to use and time efficient.

Cons

I honestly thought about this... I can not think of one thing I view as a con.

Love the Breeze

Prior to signing up w/ Breeze in 2015, I spent much time & effort researching our options. I know there are many options, yet for my church’s use and my opinion, the value far exceeds the competition.

Pros

Customer service has been great. It was easy to implement/use. From directory, contributions, events, scheduling, reports (year-end, too), check-in, and more ... it offers all the features we need and can’t think of anything else, though they are always open to upgrades.

Cons

Not so much about the software, but getting church folks (aside from staff) to use the many features available to them has been a challenge.

Perfect Name for Program that makes life easy

Pros

It is intuitive, easy to use and the educational materials and videos well done. Customer service has always been efficient and friendly.

Cons

I'd like to see further functionality in forms. The forms are amazing but I'd like to see them be more interactive. Example: For a Potluck form if we list items to bring and someone selects that item, it still remains on the list so we don't know who is bringing what.

Right Price, Right Features

The conversion took a couple of hours and the breeze people did it remotely. I have asked a couple of questions both from phone and e-mail and had quick answers.

Pros

This software allows for unlimited people, it makes your outreach easy with Cell, Address and E-mail available on touch. Easy Check-in Attendance for all classes, and easy messaging. They also have a nice Contributions Module. We left a High Priced Shelby Solutions that supposedly had all the bells and whistles but nobody could use it. Everything cost. Breeze truly is a breeze that anyone in your church can and will use. Also nice directory feature we just used,

Cons

I would love to be able to separate people who are visitors out of main list so I don't have to scroll through all their names except when I am looking for them. May be there and I missed it.

Fantastic

Pros

This software is sooo easy to use and has provided us a ton of organizational function that we were using spreadsheets for or just simply didn’t have.

Cons

I have a couple wish list items I would like to see like a better way to track attendance as a lot of our folks don’t want to “check in”, but they are steadily upgrading functionality all of the time.

Best church management software available

As a medium size church, we realized a need to better track with our people and especially with families -for our kids programming. Breeze has been simple to use, train our volunteers on and fun to interact with. They often solve an issue and develop a new feature just as we need it!

Pros

Customer service is exceptional, they answer the phone and then email me a copy of the procedure-ao helpful!

Cons

There is nothing that would hold me back from purchasing this again or highly recommending it to others.

Almost Perfect Church Software

We've been using Breeze for a year now, and we love it! It has really helped us by organizing projects and ministries, and it has saved time instead of requiring more of our time.

Breeze lives up to its name!

I'm thrilled with Breeze.

Pros

The one thing that brings Breeze above other great products is their support team. It is the most responsive, helpful team of any product I've ever come across in any context. These guys are fantastic.

How I use Breeze: Breeze lets me communicate easily via text or email to various sub-groups of people using Tags. We use Breeze's automated reminder/RSVP system for our children's program which has saved me SO much time and hassle, and we're able to track attendance of our children's program. I send out a weekly newsletter through Breeze (which allows me to track readership). We receive money for events through the forms feature, and use Forms regularly for all kinds of things. I like that receiving registration payments through forms connects those same payers to their contact ID in the member database.

Cons

Two things I would love to offer to our people that Breeze can't do currently:

1) We are currently limited in our ability to let folks pick the roles they'd like for various event signups. I have to go to outside sites like SignupGenius for that, which is no longer linked to the database. A cross between SignupGenius and TakeThemAMeal would be fantastic and allow us to stay inside Breeze for all that communication.

2) Having a secure login for our folks is great, and it would be very helpful if we could upload some content to a common page for things like church bylaws, mission statement, Children's program policies, etc. Currently there's no direct way to upload content to the database or to show your own custom "home" page when users log in. Even that would be helpful because I could put links to PDF files without asking Breeze to host more stuff.

It's a BREEZE!

Financial reporting is very simple and multiple reports can be created. Attendance at events and enrolling new people also assists us with new kids in check-in to maintain a secure place.

Pros

Breeze is clean and simple to use. We transferred from a more complex system which could do tons of things, but most we didn't use. Breeze also accepts requests for certain new options. LOVE THEM!

Cons

Rep. from Breeze used to have his office here . . . and now he doesn't! But he comes to visit!

Great from a user standpoint

It has overall allowed us to get a much better handle on who and what we have for resources.

Pros

It is very easy for a smaller church to incorporate text-to-give, membership, volunteer scheduling and easy follow-up for visitors! Maintaining is easy and not cumbersome to learn, assigning tasks makes people management a Breeze!

Cons

Would have really preferred to have something that allows visitors to interact and submit their information. We have had to go to another text interaction with QR code to get actual information and have it look professional. There is some ability but it is not what we are looking for.
