Pros/Cons
Pros
- Help desk and switches over from several platform into to one has been amazing. The customer service and videos walking you through any questions you may have with ease.
- Great product with great customer service which has definitely improved engagement at our church.
- The staff has been wonderful. We love working with [sensitive content hidden.
Cons
- I have used 4 different church software companies over 15 years, and this is by far the most difficult to use.
- Hard to find answers to questions and workarounds at times.
- Limited features in Canada. Some of the features don't fully work.
Pros
- PowerChurch Plus was the perfect solution. It is one of the few programs out there that is both affordable and PC-based.
- The customer service is excellent. I am not one who likes to call and wait to speak to a representative and I don't have to because the online help is excellent.
- It allows you so many choices for creating amazing presentations. I am able to create wonderful presentations for our church service.
Cons
- What is bad is that this reminds me of where Quickbooks was at 15 years ago.
- The only downside is that you cannot pay invoices electronically. You can only write checks.
- Therefore, I have to jump through hoops to make Power Church give me the separate amounts. I do this by faking the dates.
