Love this product!
I am completely happy with my experience. it is easy to manage as an administrator, easy for my church members to use, and easy to process refunds if an error occurs.
PROSThis product is easy to use, has lots of features, and the customer support is amazing.
CONSThe inability to "select all" when choosing several data points for one action. You have to manually click each item instead of there being a "select all" option.

The representatives of Gyve seemed to really care about the success of my church rather than closing a sale.

Go Gyve!
Love it. With more privacy protection built in (or promoted on HOW Gyve is protecting information) it would be perfect.
PROSGyve offers the widest variety of services I've seen out there for churches and online giving. You can have people text in a gift, or use the app. They can make their gift recurring instead of just a one-time deal. Gyve also offers "Round Up", which can be used creatively to get people to experience generosity for the first time. I also personally like how it seems Gyve is always trying to improve itself. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been awesome to work with. He's fun and professional, and has replied to emails I've sent directly. I appreciate that he's in charge!
CONSTwo things. The first, I would want to know a lot more about privacy and data protection. Privacy is such a big deal right now. People are aware of hackers and sensitive to how their information is being protected. I just don't know enough about how Gyve is protecting both the users and the organizations from ID theft. Then, I'd like to be able to control the automatic messages that go out to people based on how they gave. A message for someone who makes a one-time gift versus a recurring gift versus Round-Up all deserve different responses. Perhaps this is already a feature, and I just haven't discovered it yet - in which case, maybe make it easier to find and use :-)

The amount of varying services offered. (More ways for people to give without big fees was really important to us.)
Reasons for switching to Gyve
Not enough giving options (with their basic plan), and way too many fees for that. We were with them for five years, and I'm not sure they ever really adapted, upgraded, or changed much.

Not User Intuitive and Challenging to Make Changes
I am not overly impressed with this program. We have since switched to another giving provider whose system is much easier and functional. We only use Gyve for some giving that still occurs on this.
PROSI really do not have an y pro's for this software.
CONSThe user interface was not that easy to use. If you need to make updates to bank you had to reach out to customer service to make this change. The ability to get reports was challenging. The way it tied into our Church Managment System it was pulling information from the system rather than just sending information.

A great way to Gyve!
This software is a great way for someone looking to tithe, donate money for a project, or just simply give a gift to a business to support them. Very easy to set up and I like the fact that you have options. You can give a one time gift, setup for weekly or monthly. You can link a bank account or if you prefer a debit or credit card it can do that as well. Due to convenience for the customer, your gifting will increase. We have seen it grow for our church, not massive growth but it did increase.
CONSIf I had to find a flaw with the Gyve software I would have to say the report list. I really wish there was a way to pull up a persons name, then click on the year so you can see how much that person gave for the year. As far as I know ans can find the software only allows you to do this for a month but not the year. It would have been great to have at beginning of the year for tax purposes. There are a lot of names to go through and having to click a name, click on each month, then add it up for the year was a pain! I really hope this function can get added for next year.

As a church we like the option for Round Up. We figured the more options a congregant has the better it is.

Fast, Easy, Effective
We've been blessed to be a partner with Gyve, especially during this pandemic, to help keep our church going during this difficult time.
PROSWe were searching for a mobile app to collect donations for our church. The GYVE app was up and running in minutes and has been easy for all of our users.
CONSSome of the reporting options weren't available right away, bu there's been constant improvement in that area.

Gyve seemed simpler in execution and there were some fixed costs that were associated with the other options that weren't included with our choice of Gyve.

Excellent Organization!
Fantastic experience. They have made the implementation smooth and clear. We work directly with the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and IT developer.
PROSEase of use, linking to bank by login, round up option. Customer service and response to requests is outstanding.
CONSI have no dislikes so far. There is nothing I dislike.

Excellent Product!
Excellent experience! It's still new to us, but we have had several people giving through this online platform.
PROSGYVE is a fantastic way to incorporate online giving into a church's budget and operations. We got GYVE set-up just a couple weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic forced all churches to go to online only services. What a blessing from God! It was easily incorporated into our website and the GYVE staff have been wonderful to work with. They were friendly, attentive & knowledgeable! The option for people to sign up for round up giving is a great bonus!
CONSThe GYVE platform can only be set up with one bank account. It would be helpful to us, if we could have another account set up for funds that are given under specific designations.

Real Life Church
I have had a good experience over all with Gyve.
PROSThe software is relatively easy to use in reconciliation and to assist members in allowing refunds. Customer service with the software has been very good.
CONSAs we try to promote more use of the Gyve app for our members, it seems that I spend long periods of time with individuals that struggle with setting it up for themselves personally. The screens that come up to input card information, whether setting up or changing, appear to be confusing as they input their cards or account information. (i.e....you want to remove a card due to it being compromised, you can not remove it unless you "add" a new card) I fully understand the reasoning, but maybe a flag could come up when someone is trying to do that stating the need for the new card first before you can delete it. In fact, when there are errors to the set up process, perhaps there could be red areas showing, with explanations of why there is an error in setting up.

Great for the Price!
Very pleased and will continue to be a customer! The ease of use is one of the features that sold us, and the ability to use with exisiting operations, without have to change our current software and hardware systems. The features we needed, it has. Try it!

CONSThe user interface can seem bland of features. The performace had some issues and first. Figuring out the software was not hard, but did require a little help.

Overall the product is user friendly, gives the admin a lot of ability to assist the customers so they dont have to go through tech support. Tech support is quick to address errors and fixes. Overall we are happy with our service and product

CONSThe generosity reports still need some updated features for a multisite church. There is a lot of improvement that can happen in these areas with some additional options added for things like location search options , giving type search options, and date ranges options as well as csv export options.

Great Generosity Strategy
Gyve not only allows people to donate via an app, it provides a framework for a generosity strategy that can be very powerful in propelling your organization forward. The app offers several on-ramps for people to begin their generosity journey even as simple as rounding-up your spare change. I also like looking at the analytics weekly and getting as close to real time information as possible so we can understand what is and is not working in casting vision around giving.
CONSIt can take several days for the reconciliations to be completed which is probably more to do with the communications between banks than a Gyve issue. Also, the analytics continue to get better all the time and shows a lot of potential, but there are some additional filters that would be nice to see so we can drill into the data better.

We love it. We feel it is secure for our people to use. Easy to set up and no one has complained about it. Some wished we used PayPal or venmo or other more common payment methods but generally understand the added features and benefits from both the giver and administrator side.
PROSWe love the round up feature, the easy set up, and versatility.
CONSIt's takes a while to remember how to find specific information beyond general reports. Could be a little easier to find. Setting up different types of contributions are not all as easy either. Not centrally located.

Simple Process for Online Giving
My overall experience is very positive as I indicated in my previous remarks.
PROSOur church have used other platforms in the past for online giving. It took a while to figure out we were getting charges on multiple levels, thereby significantly reducing the amount of our donors' gifts. We started using Gyve and have been very pleased. Very easy to set up and support is readily available. Biggest factor for us is that we pay a competitive percentage to the credit card companies but incur no other charges. I highly recommend Gyve.
CONSThere's not much not to like with Gyve. My only suggestion is that sometimes setting date parameters for contribution reports can be a little funky.

Great and Easy Way to Make a Difference!
I really like the implementation of the round-up feature. It is so easy to give the change that would just sit in my car and not make a difference. Being able to schedule my giving is also great! The sum that I have requested to be taken out every week is done automatically and I also receive a notification that my dollars have been delivered and making a difference. I will have no excuse to not give back what God has already given me.
CONSI believe setup took longer than expected. It was a bit confusing, but I may have missed something when setting up my bank. I initially setup my bank but nothing happened after a few days. I then deleted the account because I thought I didn't set it up correctly. If there is anything that can be implemented, maybe a notification that let's me know where the process is at.

Gyve puts my $$ where I want it.
I use Gyve with every transaction to funnel my change to the non-profit of my choice. And, I can switch up my non-profits or change the giving whenever I want.
PROSI love how I can set up Gyve and not think about it again, but it directs my dollars to the cause I selected.
CONSI wish I had known about Gyve sooner. I would have saved me from writing checks!

Once you get past the spelling, it’s a great resource for any church.
My overall experience has been favorable.
PROSWhat I like most about this product is the ease of use and the features such as round up.
CONSI don’t have any complaints about the functionality of the product. The only con is that the name literally means “shackles” which is not the best optics when people google “gyve”.

Great for organizations Large and small
Gyve has provided the ability to collect donations for our charity throughout the year even though our primary fund raiser is a once annual charity ball.
PROSI have used this app for a long time since my church began using it for donations ( large church). However it was so easy to use, I wanted to see if I could use it for our charity organization at work. I inquired about our organization and staff was very easy to work with and set me up with an account for our small organization. We primarily use the Roundup feature but we are looking to use it for more event based needs in the future. They were very helpful in setting up our account and adjusting things to fit our small 501c3.
CONSThere have not been any downsides for us. The switch was an easy decision because there was no upfront costs or maintenance fees. The fee schedule is simple and straight forward

Seamless and Simple Giving Platform with Large Impact
This new giving app has made it easy for users of all ages and technology levels to give. Users can do a one-time gift or set up automated giving with a safe and secure platform. Other features include integration with full communication app and text to give options. One of the best features is the round-up option to round up payments to give to a charity of choice. Incredible response and customer support from selection and roll-out process to maintaining day to day operations.
