Pros/Cons
Pros
- I love that I am able to view everything my students are doing. I love that I have the control and ability to close out any tabs which should not be open at a given time.
- I love that the company interacts with their customers to help build a better product and experience.
- GoGuardian helps teachers ensure that students are using computers appropriately and staying on task. I love that you can see what students are doing, as well as what other tabs they have open.
Cons
- My school has only had this software for a few months but what a difference it has made; fixing a problem I suspected was there but had no idea the severity of.
- They have already been sued by the aclu and others for privacy violations, they need to quit messing with our children.
- Some of the features are harder to set up for staff and often times kids screens will time out on the teacher's display for seemingly no reason.
Pros
- It's also really nice that I'm able to customise my Kahoots. My team really enjoys Kahoots, both when done for fun games and also for more serious/nformative questionnaires.
- Overall my experience with Kahoot! has been great. It is very user friendly and provides a platform to make educational learning fun and easy for kids.
- Love the ability to use the computer version remotely. A fun interactive game for student learning.
Cons
- The UI of their website is so confusing and you get lost after your third click and wonder how you got there.
- I just don't like everyone's score to be shown, because those in a bad position can feel bad. It creates discomfort among the students.
- Occasionally, there can be issues if the internet connection is poor which is rather annoying as it can cause disconnections.
