At the moment, the client can click a task as complete when they submit a document, but it is not necessarily complete. It may be the wrong document as an example. I would prefer the client to submit a task/document, and to leave it as ''Submitted''. Easy to use on both the admin, and user side. I have struggled to find a client portal that can be used by the computer illiterate, and the computer savvy, and have finally found it! They extend out to some real basic task management abilities, but I wouldn't use it as your primary task management solution. More to assist portal needs. Support is amazing, and US based...which is always nice. They seem to always be available via email or in platform chat Lastly, it includes document review & approval abilities...analytics and a clear dashboard to review them...unlimited document storage....the ability to embed or link outside pages, websites or software....chat messenger....and a ticketing system you can adjust in many ways by creating new forms (which it also lets you do...create/present forms). #### Cons Motion is pretty plain jane regarding its white labeling. There are ways to introduce visual aspects, however, there is no way to adjust the UI to introduce brand colors...or place graphics in a static sections. You have a logo / small graphic section in the upper left corner for a static section. Other opportunities require you to attach them to the portal pages. Ideally, you would keep the upper left logo area, add a top header, and be allowed to adjust the color of the rest of the UI to suit the need. The goal that myself and a motion rep had was for me to use it as a full project management + tasks platform...in addition to a client portal. After months of use, I am finding that it could possibly remove parts of the project management process, but for a single project...not the management of complex projects (maybe if you have zapier and link to something like Asana). The tasks ability won't provide a robust enough platform for you to not want to look for other opportunities. This is amazing CLIENT PORTAL software!!!
