Pros/Cons
Pros
- Another great feature is the automation of two-factor authentication by handling one time passwords within the 1password app. Its a fantastic app guys, keep up the great work.
- The integration between 1Password and Have I Been Pwned from Troy Hunt is an excellent addition to an already great product and the Watchtower feature is very useful.
- The perfect code manager. Very good and easy dashboard, great flexibility in management, very good support.
Cons
- I find that at times I get uncomfortable about the software knowing all my information, and there is the possibility of it being hacked, but I think it is a very small risk.
- I might forget or lose the only password I need to unlock the app and I'm afraid there's no way to unlock it.
- I feel skeptical of what would happen if they were to get hacked.
Pros
- The possibility of being able to share the passwords with people whom I choose I like very much and the integration with other tools is very good.
- I like the ability to generate strong passwords with ease, its ability to scan the dark web for any misuse, and autofill addresses and payment information - Securely.
- The guys over there at Dashlane are doing an excellent job. I especially like the user friendly dashboard and the extend in which you can add only the details you really need to.
Cons
- However, I'm not sure if something went wrong or if there was a problem with the software. Whatever it was it caused me to have to continuously sign in over and over and over.
- I finally found a call, but no one would answer. Upon further review, I saw that SEVERAL other customers had the same issue and lost their money.
- Desktop notifications can be annoying at times.
