Pros/Cons
Pros
- They have been very patient and kind in helping me navigate this new platform. So excited to start my first season with JackRabbit.
- We went from CompuDance to MindBody to Jackrabbit Dance and never looked back. It takes care of our needs, is constantly improving with time, and has amazing customer service.
- However, I absolutely love how easy it is to use, I love the parent portal, love the automated billing and the customer service is top notch.
Cons
- This is a fraud problem, as someone could take cash for a class, have the person enrolled and click out and it would not register any money and keep the child in the class.
- The JackRabbit export to the QuickBook was a huge headache and burden to understand and organize. Using this feature wasted a significant amount of time and discombobulated my books.
- THis is a huge problem, as now we have to check on a daily basis if someone made an error. This needs to be fixed, or our auditors will require another software.
Pros
- LOVE LOVE LOVE this software. I used another very un-user friendly before finding Studio Director and I couldn't be more thankful.
- I love the inventory and ability for an online store. I love the recital/performance planning ability.
- I love the ease of the user interface. It's very intuitive which is helpful when trying to figure out a new feature.
Cons
- It is too expensive especially when charged extra by the Studio Director.
- Inability to apply SPLIT payments with Autopay feature. Inability to select ACTIVE, INACTIVE, or PROSPECT for each family/student (which results in paying for inactive students).
- The only worry with that would be missing someone, and it creates extra work- which was what we were trying to avoid in using TSD.
