Ll admit, what little I have messed around with the program beyond using it in a GPS Unit, I wish it was a little more intuitive.

It is very difficult to integrate with outside files, such as CSVs, and they often need a lot of meticulous cleaning up to get the software to read the data.

We are using ArcGIS to expand our program and be innovative in our solutions. The capabilities are nearly endless and we are excited to see where this takes us.

My experience with ArcGIS has been really great. It helps me and makes me work faster with Survey data and geographic data to understand my civil engineering projects in the initial stages.

Setups completed by other employees can be difficult to troubleshoot because of these assumptions in the documentation.

The features and functionality of this software is amazing, there are so many things that you can input to get the best results possible.

The ease with which a beginner can navigate the software. A lot of useful features with appropriate detail.

Sometimes it can be confusing to know where the tools are and how to access them.

When there are errors, the program does not explain well what caused the problem.

I know too many people who have no idea where to start with Arc it are apprehensive to use it because of its technicality.

It's a very powerful tool with so many features in it one can even imagine. It has it's applications in almost any field and worth every penny invested for.

The vast variety of tools and features to use are pretty useful. Also, the ability to manually control and manage the services is very important to my work.

The other reason that almost all the academic bodies are recommending this software is the extreme reliability and good customer support.

Had problems with log in sometimes. What else can i mention is it hangs sometimes on loading screen but very rarely.

ArcGIS online also provides a large database of mapable data in case you need it. Lots of analysis tools and the online community is great.

It's very much difficult to install to our pc. If it's wrongly installed we have again updated the os and reinstall the software.

Some of the functions are difficult to remember and I often had to refer to tutorials to figure out what to do, tools were not too self-explanatory.

Also, downloading and licensing this software is the biggest pain.

It is very awesome to link the accounting information with spatyal information because you can know where you are spending your money and which spaces of the city are you improving.

I have been using ArcGIS by ESRI for some years now with academic licensing and I am always impressed with the new and innovative features.

Catchment delineation can easily done by this software which helps in hydrological modeling. Also this software having very user friendly interface too.

Easy to use, and great for sharing information on projects in a visual format.

First plus is that it has many layers. And maps can be navigated very easily, good at integration with other type of maps.

A great and powerful program that may be hurt but it's computing and technical expertise requirements to operate effectively.

The software is great for working with maps and geographic information. As a civil engineer student, it was really helpful for Hydrology class.

Sometimes the software get struck in the middle and we need to restart it to run. Sometimes I lost my models without saving it.

It’s fun if you’re into visualization of spatial data, and I totally am.

The database for ArcGIS is one of the topmost useful and the biggest data that can be useful for engineering and non-engineering purpose.

The satellite images are very useful and the quality is the best.

Return on Investment, ROI from ArcGIS, ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcToolbox, ArcLogistics and solutions is good.

Cost is the  major problem with small organizations as well as for students.

The range of tools at your fingertips is amazing and the training available to get an inexperienced user up and running is top notch.

It is an excellent tool for making maps or spatial analysis of geographical data with latitudes and longitudes. The visualization or the representation of the analyzed data is excellent.

A lot of included feature , good implentation , inexpensive to start and user friendly.

Mapcon is a value add tool that packs a lot of power for a modest price. The customer service at map on is great and the people are great.

MAPCON has been a great addition. We are happy with the performance of MAPCON.

It is sometimes difficult to set up a partial inventory. I still wants to print out the entire location inventory instead of just specific locations.

We currently have the older version the 5.2 version and now we are looking at the latest and greatest version of Mapcon from what I can see that would be a great step forward for our company.

The customer service is good. When you call they will work through what the issue is that your having.

I recently hired an employee that hardly spent any time on a computer,  literally didn't know enough to be dangerous.

Reports can be confusing to navigate what you are looking for.

Absolutely amazing support,easy to work with and they know their product.

Some times difficult to navigate when trying to gather reports.

User friendly great support when needed. Train courses are helpful.

Vendor, Purchasing, Work Orders, Requisitions all work great. Easy to work on the MAPCON Program.

We are upgrading to the latest version, v6.3, which brings better, more versatile reporting tools and web-integration (including support for mobile devices).

It does everything that I need, it's perfect for our small company, yet can upgraded and customised to accommodate growth. And best of all, very reasonably priced.

In fact, in working with them, they have released new versions that have included suggestions we made to them. It's a good product with great support, would recommend to others.

The newer systems offer this mobility and integration, however it parses out, and charges for, some of the modules that are all included in the older version.

Since we have upgraded to Mapcon 6 I have been very happy!!! Customer Support with Mapcon is great. Mapcon 6 offers so much more and is really easy to use.

There are bugs, it does lock up and at times corrupts data. Some of the batch changes do not always works well.

The Report menu and the ability to create/edit reports to fit everyone's needs was very good. The menus were very functional, they were easy and quick to move through.

You can not type in  fields, you have to use the drop down key.

I have found Mapcon user friendly, easy to work with and most impressive is their staff who are always ready to assist. Thank you  Brock, Ethan and Cory).
