Fiix is a cloud-based computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) that helps businesses organize their maintenance departments, get on top of maintenance backlog, and work towards preventive maintenance.

The CMMS helps manage work orders and physical assets, schedules and tracks maintenance, and keeps detailed records of asset performance and maintenance history. Other features include inventory tracking, parts and supplies management, an interactive calendar, printable QR codes for easy asset tagging, customizable reports, multi-site management, ERP integrations and more.

Fiix is a web-based solution, aiding in setup and automatic updates. All users also get access to the Fiix mobile app, which puts the CMMS into the hands of technicians in the field. The system is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, as well as any iOS or Android mobile device.

Must have to track inventory

Pros

Great for equipment monitoring and maintenance. It's very helpful for small organizations. It has a mobile app for android and IOS.

Cons

Mobile app needs some improvements. It would be nice to change the color of the dashboard. Other than that is a great tool.

Not incredibly pleased with Fiix

While it was an OK experience, I will definitely not be using it again.

Pros

I liked how it was able to handle work orders for certain custom products we had to create for our business.

Cons

It was extremely difficult to login, felt like I was always having issues. Especially on mobile devices.

Fiix CMMS

I was able to organize all the manufacturing plant equipment and daily work and PM’s quickly and efficiently. The work done on the plant went from being a chaotic problem to a very organized and planned program that has resulted in record production outputs by the plant. Furthermore, we now have historical information and can plan rather than wait for a problem (Predictive Maintenance), and order appropriate levels of spare parts. The application comes out of the box (Web-based), with ALL the ”modules,” so there is no additional components to buy. Parts, vendors, Purchase Orders, are all part of the application. As if this was not enough, Fiix comes with a mobile app that works with any phone. I can enter new Work Orders as I do my inspections every day and the assigned tech gets it immediately to get the machine back to work. The tech enters the data on his/her phone and moves on to the next WO or task. Work is logged, the time recorded, and the equipment is updated with the new information, time down, work performed, parts used, hour meter information and the appropriate people are notified via email, text or both, as you desire. Photos and documents can be quickly attached to the work orders and equipment to give the techs detailed information about the work to be done, schematics or OEM specific instructions. My experience with Fiix has been phenomenal and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Pros

I like just about everything about Fiix.
The application is straightforward to use, and although I have an IT background, I can see how easy it would be easy for anyone to use it.
After we purchased the software, it took me hours not days to quickly set it up, and I was up and running.
Yes, CMMS takes time to set up, and it requires much forethought and planning, but Fiix is ready to use the day you buy it, and all you have to do is enter your equipment data, and you can start creating work orders immediately.
Did you forget to enter one piece of equipment? No problem, you can add it on the fly at any time.
The app is easy to understand and use, and the support from Fiix is A+, one if the best I have ever experienced.
Answers to questions, fixes to problems (I had very few, and most were self-inflicted), are quickly answered by Fiix support. in my opinion, Fiux is a top contender.

Cons

Not much. I cannot think of anything I dislike about Fiix.

Excellent maintenance software

Pros

A great maintenance tool and very easy to use. Like any software it takes getting use to but that is only minor delay. It has excellent value for the money and cloud friendly. The cost is not bad at all and you will be up and running fairly quickly.

Cons

Really nothing negative to say about this. It has served us well. Had a little problem with linking reports but the was minor inconvenience.

Makes needs reporting easy

Pros

We use this at our organization to submit maintenance requests, and it has been a perfect fit for us as we have grown in size. It's not practical for our maintenance department to function from email and text requests. Fiix allows a great solution so that all employees can easily take personal responsibility for reporting the needs they see, and everyone knows that if a request has been submitted, it will be taken care of. No one is afraid that their request is going to be missed anymore.

Cons

The only possible con is that the landing page can look a little misleading for someone who just needs to submit a request. The login space is the most prominent piece on the page, which can confuse people into thinking they need login information in order to submit a request.

Pros

As good as advertised. A one-stop solution to various challenges in running a company, ranging from time management to resource management. The resources can be either men or materials. The interface is smart and interactive.

Cons

The only con that I can mention is that it is loaded with so many features that one may need a good amount of time and effort to learn and get used to all the features.

Good CMMS Product; Lots of features

We have a better handle on routine maintenance. In addition, the late work order report helps keep maintenance on a more timely schedule.

Pros

Very versatile. Lots of features. Having the ability to include asset pictures and attach documentation is a great feature. Creating scheduled maintenance is straight forward. Relatively simple and uncomplicated for users to complete and close out work orders. Also, having parts locations identified in the system is a nice feature.

Cons

The system will not let me link to documents on our internal network; this means I have to have duplicate documents on the Fiix cloud. There is a lot of work to set up user, page and menu permission (though that kind of comes with the territory using a database)

Good Software for Parts Room

I like Fiix. It is a great program and I defiantly recommend it to others. Customer service is easy to deal with. I have never had an real issue with the program at all. Works very well.

Pros

I like the history it keeps. I can always look back, even if it is a ticket that has been closed.

Cons

Inventory sheets. I have them set up better to count, but it still not exactly what you need for a parts room.

Lots of features we don't use

Having a one-stop shop for all fitness equipment info, from purchasing to maintenance to disposal have been very beneficial. We are a relatively small fitness operation so therefore do not fully utilize the many features of FIIX.

Pros

I like the ability to have all of our equipment and information related to that equipment in one place.

Cons

The reporting feature is very cumbersome. Can quite get the custom reports I'd like.

Fiix Is Awesome

Staying on top of all Work Orders coming in and Closed Work Orders. Also keeping up with Total Work Backlogs it's all on your Dashboard.

Pros

I like everything about Fiix, one of the most important things I like is how fast the Work Requests come in to the Dashboard and to your email.

Cons

There's nothing I didn't like about the software. Everything work amazing from open Work Orders to High Priority Work Orders.

Great Product

We are a water utility. We have a lot of maintenance items covering a wide range of types of assets. The flexibility and detail of Fiix has allowed us to set up very effective maintenance programs.

Pros

The software is very flexible. We have been able to configure it to very closely meet our needs.

Cons

Documentation could be better. We have been discovering some very useful features almost by accident. The report writer, though very flexible, is not particularly user friendly.

Reports

Fiix is a great work order processing tool. That is about where it ends for me. I need a report for equipment which states vehicle ID, current mileage, next trigger for maintenance based on miles or hours not dates. The information is in the system but you can't get it out in a report. They want to charge me to get this report. All of which is a basic function in any other maintenance program.

Information is in the system.

Cons

However getting it out is frustrating.
