### About Fullbay

Fullbay is a cloud-based shop management solution designed for heavy-duty commercial repair shops. The app allows shop owners, technicians, managers and customers to stay involved throughout the repair process.

Fullbay tracks a vehicle’s maintenance history and allows customers to submit repair or maintenance requests, view a vehicle’s progress and approve work and settle invoice payments through a branded portal. Owners can see how efficient each technician is and create real-time reports to see how the shop is performing. Fullbay integrates with QuickBooks Online for thorough recordkeeping.

The app is Android and iOS compatible, and runs on tablets, phones, and internet browsers. Fullbay's customer communication tools enable two-way texting to update clients on repair progress.

Fullbay truly transformed our business. The manner in which we managed shop operations was very haphazard and "seat of the pants" before we adopted Fullbay. Fullbay provided us with a roadmap to streamlining much of our processes. It's not a magic bullet, and it only works if you use it as intended. I personally believe that we could improve in a number of areas of our Fullbay usage if we had the time to stop and really focus on it. Overall, I am very pleased with Fullbay and believe it was a great choice for us.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Fullbay has many great features and has continued to improve and evolve since we adopted it in 2016. I think the best features are its relative ease of use, and the available tutorials. I also particularly like the inventory module. This is one area that I think we struggled with previously, and although the software does not solve all of our problems, it gives us the tools and framework to truly streamline our parts processes. Also, we are seeing more and more of our customer's making use of the portal. I think this feature holds a lot of promise for the future.

#### Cons

I really do not personally have any major complaints about Fullbay. We've experienced a few glitches with the interface with our accounting software, but these issues are usually quickly resolved. I suppose one personal issue is the speed with which the product as evolved has more or less left me behind. The level at which I use Fullbay does not take me into the day to day tasks as it once did. As the result I have to play catchup at times. But again, there are always excellent tutorials that usually get me to where I need to be.

It has been a thorough process. We use the help line alot and it is very handy to have. The on boarding process was as easy as it could be and i really enjoyed being able to have a one on one expreience while traning.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5

#### Pros

My team really enjoys the inventory management system as well as the individual action items. It helps us to keep us organized

#### Cons

It was a bit difficult to get set up and intergrated with our employees just because of it being so new to our company. We attened the diesel connect conference this past May and that did help to get us more involved.

#### Reasons for switching to Fullbay

We wanted a better way to manage our inventory and track our techs time

#### Vendor response

Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Taylor! We're glad your team is finding value with managing inventory and service order action items. Also great to hear Diesel Connect and our support team helped make the transition to a new system a bit smoother.

From the very first day Fullbay was very much interested in our success as a business and with the use of their software. Fullbay has always been extremely professional and prompt with our questions or needs. This partnership with them has helped push us to ever higher levels of service and excellence. I strongly believe we owe a lot of our growth to Fullbay. It frees us up to manage and service our fleet customers. From start to finish we are better, faster, and more accurate than we were before Fullbay.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

Ease of use, portability, and professional appearance towards customers. So easy to train new users and I can work from anywhere I need to. Our customers love the way their invoices look and their access to their portal 24/7.

#### Cons

I really have nothing that I do not like about Fullbay. We often perceive problems, but those are sorted out quickly by our support team. There are very frequent updates and changes that continually improve and polish the software.

This is a fully honest review, I will also explain my short comings also. I signed up for FullBay, got started, went through integrations, which was really awesome and everyone was super helpful, I had some promos on my trial subscription, which they tell you about and let you know you need to cancel them before the trial is up. the thing they neglect to tell you is when your trail is up unless you ask them, and they do not send out any reminders either. I went past my date and got a charge for well over $600, I am a single person managed small business and do not have that type of capital to throw away for a program that I don't use. I emailed immediately and tried to resolve the issue, they were able to cancel the subscription, but denied any refund, even though I hadn't used the service. I like their system, and I like how it works for the most part. But I will not be recommending this to anyone due to their inability to understand and work with people due to their own company policy.

Overall I believe Fullbay is a good system for shop management. There are slight programming oversights like the previously mentioned timecard kickout, but other than that it works very smoothly.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Tech scheduling and Service order authorization process are easy and fluid. Tech reassignment is intuitive and service order creation is fast and easy.

#### Cons

Timecard adjusting and deleting lines. When deleting lines on timecards the system kicks you back to the start screen and reselects all users instead of just leaving you on the user you're adjusting.

#### Vendor response

Appreciate the great review, Nick! We appreciate your feedback on the timecard process and are always looking for ways to make the system even better.

I used fullbay at a previous employer and when I started at my current job work orders were being written by hand. I quickly went to the [sensitive content hidden] and explained I can help improve tracking, maintenance records, cost and tech efficiency. This is exactly what it has done and I couldn’t imagine ever going back now, I have the entire fleet managed in the palm of my hand anywhere I am the time.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I use this as an internal system for tracking and maintaining records on our fleet of over a hundred tucks. It’s so easy to log in and check records to see what needs to be scheduled in soon. Our techs use their phones to log in and see what jobs are assigned to them and get to work. It’s overall been a great value and pretty easy to learn even though we don’t use it to the full potential.

#### Cons

I have only had one issue in over 5 years of using fullbay and it’s still not resolved, its to do with how it reports and on that note a printer friendly report would be nice and I’m sure their is some just not the report I use. Displays beautiful on screen but does not print out looking the same at all

#### Vendor response

Thanks for taking the time to share how Fullbay has made a difference for your fleet! We appreciate your feedback about reporting and printing, and we'll be sure it gets passed along to our product team.

Overall, Fullbay has been a game changer for our operation. It keeps everyone on the same page — from technicians to service managers — and helps us provide faster, more transparent service to our customers. It’s a great value for the money and continues to improve with every update.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Fullbay has made managing our shop so much easier. The scheduling and maintenance management tools keep everything organized, and the ability to track repairs and parts in real time saves a ton of time. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate, even for new users. I also appreciate how secure and reliable the platform is — we’ve never had issues with downtime or data loss.

#### Cons

The only minor downside is that it can take a little time for new team members to learn all the features, but once they do, it’s smooth sailing. A few reports could use more customization options, but overall, it’s not a major issue.

### Keeps Our Shop Organized and Running Smoothly”

- Overall rating: 5/5
- Reviewer: Cindy P.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Accounting

- Product usage: Used weekly for less than 6 months
- Reviewed: November 2025
- Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you.

Overall, my experience with Fullbay has been very positive. It has made our shop more organized, faster, and more consistent. Tracking jobs, updating customers, and managing parts has become way easier. Even though there’s a small learning curve, the improvements in efficiency and accuracy make it worth it. It’s a solid system that helps our whole team work smoother.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about Fullbay is how much easier it makes keeping track of everything in the shop. Work orders, parts, customer notes, and updates are all in one place, so nothing gets lost or forgotten. It keeps our workflow organized, cuts down on back-and-forth, and helps everyone stay on the same page. It really streamlines the day for both the office and the technicians.

#### Cons

Some features take a little time to get used to, especially for someone logging in for the first time. A few tools could be more intuitive, and certain steps feel like they take an extra click or two. Once you learn it, it works great—but the system could definitely be a bit more beginner-friendly.
