However, as they say, "jack of all trades, master of nothing". The processes and procedures for maintenance and inventory is a complete waste of time and employee resources. As you get deeper into the software, you will find it even more confusing and frustrating. Functionality has been built into SOME of the components but it just seems like a patchwork of bandaid fixes. As an operator, you should be able to bring a new hire online within a week or two of working in the system, but, after years of struggling with this program even the most computer literate people cannot get it to run smoothly on a consistent basis. Support is pretty basic and the in program error messages make absolutely no sense at times, as though it was translated from a previous 4 languages with google translate, by a 4 year old child. This program is about as intuitive as a dime store fortune telling machine and I would recommend that you avoid this disaster of software. If you decide to go with this program, please enjoy the pages filled with useless links and dead ends. The other "consultants" that have commented here have obviously never used the software but have been drawn in by the shiny packaging and massive commissions. We have recently had an escalation program approved by the regulator which significantly reduces the operating costs of our aircraft. I have a super user access and mainly deal with MX Programs, Configuration, Compliance and Component Inductions. Ramco is able to preform these functions fairly well. One big thing that you need to be aware of is that you need to understand all transactions have a specific function that does have a specific sequence in which to preform. If that is done correctly, RAMCO data is very reliable. Customer support is extremely helpful when required. Cons: The need to navigate through many different screens to complete a transaction is cumbersome. Layout is not simple, each screen has a lot of information and links/options. Once you use the software enough you begin to navigate quickly but initially its quite difficult to find the screen you are looking for. Depending on level of user, the flow to complete certain functions is not apparent which can lead to missed data inputs.
