Pros/Cons
Pros
- We are finally able to quickly and easily access nearly a decade's worth of archived assets. It makes it even easier for our artists to WOW our customers, which is a huge win for CustomInk.
- Easy to manage and tag assets; version control of all assets; easy to share assets out with internal stakeholders, clients and prospects using collections.
- Been using WebDAM for a couple of years now and love it. Helped us consolidate our product and beauty photography and other marketing assets into a single place and saved a ton of money and time.
Cons
- One major issue is its inability to preview Word docs. Another is the restriction on length of item name that can be displayed.
- What I dislike about Bynder is that it's not a household name.
- What I dislike is that the minor interface glitches occasionally.
Pros
- It was so good very user friendly, especially features like label and conflicts tracking. Checkin and checkout features are awesome.
- Perforce is great, when you master it. It becomes a very powerful and useful tool once you know how to use it.
- It's amazing to use Helix Visual Client (P4V) on different OS platform with similar user experience, really like perforce's strong notion of a changelist.
Cons
- It hanged during a demo which made the demo totally useless. Because of this issue getting difficult to work with only solution seem to be is to kill and restart application.
- I dislike how when you switch computers it is difficult to keep the documents check out. I got a new computer and I had to contact the admin to release some documents that I had checked out.
- Sometimes something will go wrong with a check-in and your files will get locked. Eclipse requires restart to reconnect to eclipse plugin.
