Since it relies on the internet speed for its operation, converting large-sized files such as video files can be annoying and sometimes fail in the middle and have to restart the process again.

As they exist only on the web it is needed to have always a internet connection. A desktop app will be a very good product.

For me it is very helpful since I save video tutorials on ubuntu using another software that creates webm format only and it converts them to mp4 files.

it is very simple to convert files, very compatible with A LOT of repositories and A LOT of formats. The fact that only with a few clicks you can convert your file with a compatible version for you is very practical.

The fact that this converter is online limits you to your bandwidth, so it is complicated to convert big files because sometimes it throw timeout error.

When converting document files it can sometimes mess up the file if the font is missing in Cloudconvert

I found using the cloud convert platform to be quick and efficient with many options.

The user interface is very clean and simple with helpful graphics.

Because the platform is capable of doing so much it can be a bit overwhelming through choice, but the developers are more than willing to provide assistance and support.

With CloudConvert, I can input a PDF file and output a JPG file, all within my automated Zapier workflow.

CloudConvert will convert to many different file types, and provides API webhooks so it can be tied into a Zapier automated workflow. I especially appreciate that you can set preset properties for the file conversion (for example, when converting to JPG, you can set desired color mode and resolution).

This was an amazing tool to use when I discovered it. I was sent a file in Keynote and was about to ask my colleague to resend it in Powerpoint. Luckily Gmail has CloudConvert built in and suggested I use it. Well I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air it was. It works perfectly and hey presto in less than a minute I had a powerpoint version of the file I needed.

It was not that clear on if it was free or if you had to pay for the product.

Occasionally I have to upload MP4 files to show them in my webinar platform. Most people prefer to take them with an iphone and send them to me in MOV format. I can only use MP4, so it was potentially learning something new and paying for it to do my job. I was so happy when I found there is a FREE and EASY program that I could use!

I'm not terribly technical. I only occasionally have to convert videos. This was so very easy that I didn't have to re-learn in between uses.

Hmmm. That is a hard one. I haven't found anything that I hate or don't understand. I guess it would be that I would have to pay for it if I used it more frequently.

CloudConvert makes my job a lot easier because I usually buy images in EPS format and with it I can convert to SVG. I can convert document files too!

CloudConverte gives me a variety of conversion options. I can convert multiple files at once. Including varied types of vector images.

Sometimes the system does not seem to work well. I had to reassess the process a few times. It seems to happen to larger files.
