Content Central has really met our needs when it comes to document management and compatibility with our Great Plains software.

I really like the ease of use of content central.

Don't buy a system until you have spent some time reviewing this solution. Good price - good company - easy to use.

Sometimes runs slowly, if something is coded wrong would like to be able to change it.

The system is also available in a Hosted Solution so as to eliminate the upfront capital investment and be delivered as a fully functional SaaS solution.

Payment and invoices can all be scanned in and it is great for everyone to be able to lookup an invoice payment or anything else right from their computer.

If needing a document storage filing and a/p workflow approval process, and on a tight budget, this is a good option.

Just today, we heard back on a request we sent this morning, but it will be another day or two until someone can log into our network to see what the problem is.

We are using is for our HR filing system, and we find it problematic to move files from catalog to catalog.

You cannot learn how to use this if you are distracted by day to day operations.

We also use it to verify UPS charges to the customer's order by simply entering the UPS tracking number. Although I don't enter the tracking number in a specific field, the software finds it anyway.

Ademero Content Central is a full-featured and user-friendly system with robust search, good security, and automatic filing plus automated structure building capabilities.

When we first got the system, there would be times when scanned items were not available. There was a delay from the time we scanned the items to the time they were actually available to view.

We use it everyday in our office for imaging hard copy documents we use on a regular basis.

When rare issues arise, if it is not something already known by the vendor, response times can be a little lagging.

Ademero is constantly improving the user experience by leveraging the newest technologies for a seamless experience. The administration is straight forward and logical.

CC's support is courteous, knowledgeable, and generous, from free online chat to reasonably priced professional services, e.g. help writing xml capture code.

The service is difficult to reach immediately by phone.

The technical and support representative we were assigned has, in our opinion, become a valuable asset of our firm.

3 years ago I loved this company and would have given rave reviews. However, contacting support has become very difficult.

This one fit our needs perfectly because of its compatibility with our accounting software Great Plains, it is user-friendly and has workflow approval features that we were looking for.

I have even contacted sales to start my support request because I can always reach them. Once support contacts me, however, they are wonderful and always fix any issues I am having.

Content Central was easy to install and was very easy to implement.

The Docstar software makes it easy to get my hands on any historical document related to any of our customers very quickly.

I love the integration with Epicor and the workflow approvals.

Very happy overall and would purchase it again if needed.

They keep charges in Y that would have already been paid as part of X.  Double-dipping. Their accounting team is inflexible and will refuse to work with you to resolve the problem.

Cost of ownership - affordable, feature rich system.

Pretty easy to use and upload copies of checks and to file when done. Everything is user friendly.

There are some functionality gaps but they would apply to only the largest of companies. I've got no real complaints with the product; most of what I encountered are experiential things.

Sometimes it's more complicated than it needs to be to build a workflow. The need to download some files in order to view them is bothersome.

Web based GUI is easy to navigate and clean. Install is not difficult.

Seems slow; lot of steps to file a document; user starts to file the document and the information disappears - have to start the filing process again.

The thing that has made DocStar helpful at all has been the fact that our accounting team created detailed tutorials for staff use.

Horrible experience ending with litigation with PIF Technologies.

Trying to find documents for audits was a tedious, costly process and storing documents in file cabinets exposes our organization to theft and loss.

It has the ability to be highly customized and accommodate complex workflows. Does great at retaining images of documents and the search functions are usable and logical.

We also use it for our A/P and locating assets within the township. Docstar integrates with our GIS systems and makes it very easy to locate documents, permits and any assets with a click of a button.

The integration is Static. Once you run the workflow, the links are no longer live.

The program crashes often and seems to randomly lose documents all the time, and its user interface isn't the friendliest.

I found it very user friendly and easy to set up. I looked at several different programs at the time and very glad I choose DocStar.

Once you understand where everything is, navigation throughout the system is pretty straightforward. Form templates can have as much, or as little data fields as needed.

DocStar is good for those who don't work with expense reports often as it is very baseline as far as advancements go.

Batch importing thru email, hot folder, xml or csv comes free. Full MS Office integration and virtual print driver come free.

We hope to take advantage of integration with Epicor and finding documents within the sales order.

The feature that I like the most about the softwareis its ability to help us organize our documents.

Lack or ready report, lack of ready workflow, lack of full Kinetic feature in ECM that works, bugs all around related to Kinetic.

I can only view previously filed documents. All of this is making it very difficult to do my job.

Lack of documentation on how to use the software or how to customize it. Difficultly customizing the software so that users can use it.

Customer service is worthless, upgrading from the previous version to this one took twice as long as quoted, everything about this program is cumbersome and harder than it should be.

Past and present employee information is always at your fingertips. Fingertips that no longer have to deal with constant paper cuts.

Haven't found anything we don't like about this software.

Storing content digitally will give us a fast return on investment in labor and storage. Finding new uses for the solution all the time.

I have almost 20 years experience with competing content management platforms so I'm not new to it. I know what I want them to do and how I want them to do it.

We met with the top 4 or 5 vendors in addition to docSTAR and docSTAR met every one of our requirements.

System is very user friendly and able to retrieve a document in seconds rather than deal with paper files.

Very satisfied with the system and would highly recommend.

Most importantly, DocStar's customer service has been TOP NOTCH...although to be fair, we hardly ever have to call them since the solution is so stable.
