A must have tool for future progression and professional development!

My overall experience with Designrr is that through purchasing the free trial I was able to see how I could benefit from using the software. I then bought the basic package and used it for a couple of symposium presentations I did in 2020. Then I went and upgraded the package and very pleased with the extra tools on offer here too!

PROS

I love this Designrr software because it allowed me to do things I never thought I could do myself. What's more, is that it allows for access to tools I never knew existed. It has also allowed me to produce high-quality work that is needed in my role as a senior lecturer.

CONS

I am still working on using this platform. A lot of problems encountered at present are of my own doing. To reduce problems I have sought help through chat and calling on support in here to help me, I have also done a monthly study schedule to help prioritize tasks so that I can learn how to use each of the tools and functions online here....so far so good.

Happy to discover this!

Great service that addresses a need for content creators and designers, with well-done functionality and ease of use.

PROS

I've only been using this service for a short while but am really enjoying it. In my work it's always a challenge to make our content more engaging, and the easy ebook and flipbook creation is really increasing our page reads. Importing and designing content is also easy and intuitive, so I get my work done a lot quicker.

CONS

So far haven't had any problems using it. Having an quick way to have multiple blocks of text become one big text block is on my wish list, but it's not that big of a deal for me.

You get what you pay for in the lifetime deals

To me it is a hit and miss relationship. It has some nice features to create ebooks and self-publish but their interface bugs can make the experience unpleasant. Some people love it...others get annoyed.

PROS

I like the available conversion for kindle format and other digital book formats. The newly added 3D cover option is also useful (I'm not sure if this is available in the basic plan) I like the drag and drop functionality and the ability to import from word documents. The more convenient features are available in their agency plan which is an annual subscription but I don't see a need for it.

CONS

It's a little clunky at times. Frequently, I have to go read the html code in order to get it to do what I want to do. It is sold as a plug and play type approach but I have found it frustrating at times when the user interface starts bugging out. The feature to edit all similar elements or just the selected elements, can be buggy at times and sometimes the changes don't stick. It has gotten better over time but I, sometimes, feel like it would be easier to just publish a pdf using MS Word.

Reason for choosing Designrr

They had a lifetime offer and their marketing video was well done. I was a little disappointed when I started using the product because it wasn't as fast to publish as the video suggested.

Great Service

I found a problem with compressed PDFs and the team created a fix within 48 hours.

PROS

I bought this software on a special offer that seemed too good to be true, but it was true! It works well and is easy to use and deploy.

CONS

Nothing really. It does everything I need it to do.

Designrr Vital for Marketing Agencies to Use for Development of Content

Overall I find the Designrr software meets my needs to create lead generating eBooks and high end PDFs and white papers. With the transcription service being the top feature I use on a daily basis. Whereas other transcription services cost by the word, I am not sure how the charge--but I know I am saving money.

PROS

I find one of the most attractive features of Designrr is the transcription service. I do most of my interviews for articles via ZOOM. I record the interview in both audio and video format. After the media files download to my computer, and I upload the file via the Podcast to PDF link in Designrr. FYI - It takes the key audio and video formats. Withing 10-15 minutes, Designrr will notify me the transcription is ready in my dashboard. I then am able to edit it, lay it out, or just drop into a template for my use. Makes developing content easy and efficient.

CONS

The actual layout design functions of Designrr are a bit complex and do have a learning curve. I am used to very simple layout tools like Mail Chimp, WIX, Publisher--and they basically run the same user experience. The Designrr system takes some learning, and I will admit it is not my favorite. I tend to use it for simple document production--pick template for copy, drops copy in, I briefly review and hit publish.

Publishing Software I Can Not Live Without

I can not live without this software. I publish a lot of lead magnets and books and this cuts my work down to hours instead of days or weeks. Their customer service team is awesome too and they are very responsive.

PROS

It has a brand new Ai tool that can research a topic, create an outline for a book and then write the book for you. Even better, the table of contents that it creates can be edited. After it does all of this, you choose the template and it automatically formats the book for you.

CONS

There is a slight learning curve when you are trying to tweak elements and although I love that it experts in pdf, epub, flipbook and other formats, I would love it if they included an export to word.

Setting up eBook 101 with Designrr

I happened to have stumbled upon this program by accident due to another person who needed $2500.00 in American funds to teach you how to set up an eBook. I saw the ad for Designrr and decided to listen to the video. The onetime fee of $27.00 in US funds got me hooked. In Canadian funds it was $36.00. I will do an upgrade in the future when I have enough funds to do that, but I am so excited to get this going. Sadly, I have not had a lot of time to devote to this due to fall season arriving here in Canada and snow is about to fall tomorrow. I have had a lot of yard work to do. So I will be getting back to publishing my eBook before the end of next month. I also want to write children's book that are fun to read on a Kindle and do Audibles as well.

PROS

I absolutely LOVE this program and have recommended it to another friend to get started on. I was at first hesitant to use it but pulled up a notepad and did steps to help me go through the process. I can chat with anyone at anytime to find out information that is needed. It has been fun using the program and it is very simplified to use. It gives you a step by step process to set up what you want to do.

CONS

I am afraid that there is nothing that I don't like least. I just wished that all these scammers out there who are trying to make people pay thousands of dollars to learn how to set up an eBook would stop doing it. Not everyone has thousands of dollars to get started and it makes one feel like the person who is taking that much money is only concerned about what they can make and not helping you.

Write a book in 10 minutes! WOW!!!

It's the easiest app I've ever used and it works like a dream. I love it! Thank you Designrr!

That's a hard question. I love everything about it. The most would be how AI creates the text and then how I can push a button and the book is created. So amazingly easy and fun! The training is awesome too! Thank you!

One of the best on the market

For me Designrr is the means to produce good copy and use in self publishing. I don't use it as effectively as I could do as I try to create my own content, which is time consuming. If I were doing more outsourcing I could no doubt create far more saleable products, and Designrr would help me to get a style of my own to brand my material. I'm still at the discovery stage of my own talent and writing. I use Designrr as a tool to access that, and am very pleased with it/.

PROS

This software has such a huge range of positive features, done for you design or incorporate your own creativity. It is inexpensive when considering the intrinsic value, the range of work you can do with it to produce consistent, professional looking results. For newbies or more experienced users, there is a full range of support and many potential possibilities for creating products that can be used in a number of ways, for individuals and companies, it's the business answer to those who wish to work designing their own products with satisfying results.

CONS

For absolute newbies without a lot of online experience, it can be overwhelming to be faced with so much potential. It is a steep learning curve to start with. Fortunately, if you read the instructions and go through the freely available tutorials, you will learn quickly and efficiently how to proceed to get your ideas manifested. The main advice is, don't try to approach intuitively or you could find you get unstuck by not approaching in the right sequence, or deleting aspects of the software (eg placeholders) that you will need later. Once you have mastered the basics the work can proceed much more quickly. Keep at it!

Reason for choosing Designrr

The whole package and finished result is pleasing. The next stage, self publishing in my case, is more complicated as Designrr doesn't dictate how you must use it. There are ways to get e-books and paperbacks out there, (Designrr can do far more than just e-books) and not all ways and means are on Amazon. Many independent booksellers won't touch Amazon products, so it can be an advantage to use independent software, and find your own agent, publisher, and professional producers.

E-books in minutes!

The software did what I was told it would: it took my blog posts from submitted URLs, and imported the text only versions. I assembled new e-books in minutes. I believe all bloggers will love Designrr. I have hundreds of blog posts and I will assemble them into new e-books. For example, Landscape side-hustle will re-purpose the best side-hustle blog posts I have written.

PROS

As a professional blogger, I love the idea of being able to quickly assemble my blog posts into an e-Book. It's a brilliant idea. I tested the Designrr software by publishing four e-books which are now available on Amazon. Search Vas Sladek on Amazon. I'm planning to publish 2-4 more e-books in 2021 and I suspect these will be more polished.

CONS

I struggled with embedding pictures for some reason. This was a bit frustrating because my first e-book was a picture guide and my photos were shot on different phones and in different sizes. I think I just have to use the software more. My editing was horrific. I'm almost ready to publish new e-books and I'm looking forward to it.

This software delivers.

As with everything learn a little about the software and how it works. Learn what it supposed to do and let it do it. When I realised this I have made it do wonderful things.

PROS

I like everything about this. There are many tutorials in the help section. You can join the Facebook group. If you are having problems someone else has had they direct to where you can find answers. If you still have questions or have unique problem support is there to help, Just Ask. Learn how the software works and you will have a wonderful experience.

CONS

When I started I thought there were to many templates. I started to learn how they worked and figured which I liked it opened a world of options. There should be a "What this can do for you" as an introduction for those that are starting out. Maybe a "What this won't do" somewhere.

If you have the money for it, it's an instabuy

Providing pricing catalogs with this is quite nice. E-books, and white papers, such a blast.

PROS

This is a no brainer after you get to taste the impact of that flipbook in your customers. The ease of implementation on a website, just remarkable. They gave a lot of thought on the editor design and luckily, in case they failed about thinking of some solution, you still have access to the html editor which it will most likely accept any piece of problem solver there. Pretty accessible, even in these times.

CONS

Although very effective, the editor could improved a lil bit more. Sometimes I find myself struggling why some changes are not taking in place, specially when working with the tables. You could also allow having more than 2 background colors for each column of the table. Let's say you want to make a pricing list formatted as a column matrix and you are offering different plans to your customers. It would be nice to being able of selecting a color per each column. The flipbook is amazing, but I don't see to find myself quite pleased with the size of the book when rendered. It does have a zoom button, yet I would prefer the flipbook to occupy the whole screen (width and height as well) in that way it would really give a feeling that you are reading a book. Like, regardless of the paper size, the flipbook is rendered in such a way that the page takes the whole screen.

Great E-book software but don't like paying monthly for the pleasure and don't like the way the affiliate system works.

PROS

I thought the lifetime license for creating E-Books was fantastic value at $27 and makes creating E-books very simple and easy.

CONS

I disliked that the lifetime license only allows you to create Free Ebooks to giveaway and you needed to upgrade to a monthly or annual payment to sell them, I also thought some of the pricing for the video transition was a tad expensive at $300 per month considering it is being done by software. I bought an AI software that costs me $29 per month and it allows me to create as many transcriptions from videos as I want for up to 30-minute videos.

I didn't I just use the lifetime license version to create Free E-Books

Reasons for switching to Designrr

I still use the lifetime license of Designrr to create E-books but use vidnami for creating video transcriptions as $297 per month seems seriously overpriced.

Excellent Software with Room for Improvement

I love it. It is relatively easy to learn at the same time as being a viable skill. Once you have one book out there, it gives you the confidence to get out there and at least, e-publish. You start to see its power and that in turn gets your creative juices going. The support team are superb! The marketing/upselling is dishonourable.

PROS

The templates and interpretation of documents is really good. I didn't realised until I uploaded it to Kindle that Kindle takes over the pagination. So it's software that speaks to other software quite comprehensively.

CONS

1.It is not a Lego like or as intuitive as the ad campaigns would have you believe. Mind, you anything worthwhile is worth learning and it is certainly relatively easy to master. It will make you indispensable if you're the only one in the office that can knock an ebook or an ezine together. 2. The videos are good but not idiot-proof, and they DO need to be idiot-proof. One might be proficient in other arenas, but nobody who is serious will mind being baby stepped through new software. That said, where that fails and where one's intellectual deficit is an issue, the support teams are top-notch! 3. Kindle doesn't like your covers, it wants covers done slightly differently - that is frustrating. 4. It sold to you in tiers. I don't like that. Quote me the biggest price up front for whatever level of capability and I'll pay - happily. Don't up-sell me seconds seconds after I have made a purchase. I don't care how effective a sales technique it is, it ain't just about your profits, it's about customer satisfaction too.

Not for all people...

I really try to use it (I already pay for it). But every tiome I try to make a professional-looking document. I prefer to switch to Microsoft Word.

PROS

The most useful feature is to import blog pages. Just put the URL and the program can import the contents to an editable document. Another useful feature is when you can choose the style of yoiur document with different covers, colors, fonts, etc.

CONS

It is really hard to get a professional look. Most of the times you end with a boring, dull looking document. And the online editor is very bad. Working with paragraphs is hard, you could do a better and easiest work with Microsoft Word.

Reason for choosing Designrr

I bought it because I believed in their advertisement. I think I will give it a few more tries but in the end maybe I left it for good. Not well expended money.

Great way to easily create eBooks from blog articles and more!

I love Designrr as a way to quickly and easily convert my articles, courses, and even FB content into eBooks, which I can use as give-aways or to sell. I find more and more ways to use it each time I work with it!

PROS

Some of my desired design layout choices don't integrate easily -- you have to learn how it all works in terms of customizing your layout and content

How I flipped over the Designrr Flipbook Software

Fantastic!

PROS

The single most important feature of the Designrr Software (apart from the fact that it has innumerable excellent templates, it is easy to integrate with my other software, it is extremely easy to use and a whole lot of other positive things) is the fact that it has the most sought after feature of creating the Flipbook version. How come I forgot to mention that it also came with a one-time price that was not only reasonable ... it was also irresistible!

CONS

I wish I had something in mind that I could ask for more ... I am happy with what I got in return for the price that I paid. Good value for money. Maybe, I will go for upgrades after sometime.

Designerr Came Out Tops

Overall, I'm please with the ease of use and finished results I'm getting even though I'm not on the highest plan. I like that they always announce the new improvements and make a video to watch on the facebook page so you can try any new additions straight away.

PROS

I loved the fact that it was easy to learn how to use the tools provided and used step by step guidance where needed. I was always able to find the answer to any questions and Pop up Help was quick and easy too. My friends were amazed at how professional my e-Books look.

CONS

Sometimes I forgot to switch off the tog when changing something like a Header and later realised it had change all the other pages Headers too when I didn't want it to.

Simple but Effective

I'm very satisfied with Designrr software. It makes our online marketing materials and training booklets look very professionally produced but with the ease of a well-structured piece of software that is simple to use.

PROS

The user interface is well designed and easy to use The ability to output the book design as a flipbook is excellent. It looks cutting edge but is really simple to achieve. I like the fact that the software can create a table of contents so that users can easily find what they are looking for.

CONS

I would like more ability to place images into the design of the book and wrap text around it appropriately. This may be more down to my lack of experience since I have only been using the software for a couple of weeks.

Reason for choosing Designrr

I trialled another software title but found Designrr much more effective in producing high-grade publications that the user can even choose to download as a PDF or print directly from the online publication.

Getting From Dream to Reality

My overall experiences has been extremely positive. I have published at least 9 E-books so far using this software with at least another 5 in the works.

PROS

I liked the ease of implementation with this product. I also like the quick media upload. I purchased a similar product that's achingly slow at media uploads.

CONS

There are a few glitches. One of the E books I made had all of the text compacted and it could not be fixed. There are also times when scrolling down in edited text is close to impossible. You have to be very patient.

I own both products. Each company has features that I favor.
