- Customer support: 4.5/5
- Value for money: 4.5/5
- Functionality: 4.7/5

### Rating distribution

- 5 stars: 7,461 reviews (79%)
- 4 stars: 1,712 reviews (18%)
- 3 stars: 229 reviews (2%)
- 2 stars: 30 reviews (0%)
- 1 star: 44 reviews (0%)

### Most mentioned pros

- The ability to save frequently used documents as reusable templates (with predefined signer roles and fields) saves hours of manual setup for recurring agreements like NDAs or offer letters.
- Docusign also offers robust security features, including encryption, authentication and detailed audit trail that protects our sensitive client information and ensure every approval remain legally compliant.
- The platform is user-friendly and accessible, which helps improve efficiency and reduces delays compared to traditional paperwork. While there are some limitations with pricing and occasional minor glitches, the convenience, reliability, and time savings make it a valuable tool for managing documents and workflows.

### Most mentioned cons

- The main downside for us is cost at the single‑user/small team level: the personal and lower‑tier plans can feel expensive for individual users, especially when you only need a limited volume of envelopes each month.
- Every once in a while a document template needs tweaking and the interface for that isn’t as intuitive as the rest of the platform, so it takes longer than it should to get a form set up exactly right.
- One downside with Docusign is that pricing can become expensive for smaller businesses or teams that may require advanced features, multiple users, or higher document volumes.

Still works perfectly with any paperwork related task and signed documents pop-ups in the VMS automatically. New thing I observed is they are faster now to resolve any issue related to it when its not populating after signature. I'm not totally sure about any cons. The pricing as well was not discussed into us but that's the only thing I can think of id its expensive.

It has become an essential tool for our daily operations, particularly for our sales and legal teams. The native Salesforce integration alone has transformed our contract workflow — what used to take days now takes minutes, and everything stays perfectly synchronized between both platforms.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The interface is intuitive both for senders and signers. Recipients don't need an account to sign — they simply click the link, sign, and they're done. This is a real game-changer for our sales team. Contracts can be generated, sent, signed, and tracked directly from Salesforce, with all signature statuses and signed documents automatically synced back to the corresponding records (Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts). This eliminates manual data entry, reduces errors, and dramatically accelerates our sales cycle.

#### Cons

While basic signing is very intuitive, more advanced features (custom workflows, PowerForms, CLM) require time and training to master.

#### Reasons for choosing Docusign

ocuSign is the most widely recognized e-signature platform globally. Clients and partners are already familiar with it, which removes friction during the signing process.

#### Pros

Docusign is the industry standard for a reason, it's so easy to use for our customers and it's a trustworthy tool when dealing with potentially sensitive information. It's also really quick, I appreciate how much time we save with it getting signatures.

#### Cons

I think they coast on their status as the industry standard a bit, I wish that they would innovate a little more with the security features.

Thank you for your generous offer. However, since I paid for the full year and my subscription will not terminate until next year, I am disappointed with this situation. It has left a bad taste in my mouth. I do not understand why there is no option to prorate the unused portion of my annual subscription. I feel that this is an unfair and strong-arm policy. Under these circumstances, I do not see myself returning to your service in the future. I also intend to share my experience and concerns regarding this policy through online reviews. #### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

What I like most about DocuSign is how fast and convenient it makes signing documents. I can review, sign, and send paperwork from anywhere without having to print, scan, or mail anything. The interface is simple to use, and the step-by-step signing process makes it easy to complete documents accurately. I also appreciate the security features and the ability to track the status of documents in real time. Overall, DocuSign saves time, reduces paperwork, and makes managing important documents much more efficient.

#### Cons

What I like least about DocuSign is that some of its advanced features can take a little time to learn, especially for new users. Occasionally, documents may require multiple authentication or verification steps, which can slow down the signing process. There can also be limitations depending on the subscription plan, and some features are only available with higher-tier options. Overall, these are relatively minor drawbacks, and the platform remains reliable and easy to use for most document signing needs.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Cons

I haven't checked in a while, so perhaps this is available now, but it seems like for a small team, there should be better pricing opions. We use it sporatically and it seems like it gets expensive when each person on our team has to have their own account

Overall, DocuSign is a great product for ensuring compliance, and audit trails while also simplifying processes internally and for clients. Allowing our clients to sign documents from where-ever they are as increased the speed of the workflow as well as client satisfaction.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

DocuSign is the industry standard for e-signatures which is why we choose to use this product. Many of our team members and clients were already familiar with the product which made the ease of integrating it into our workflow relatively seamless. Furthermore, the security and compliance was important when researching products. DocuSign provides encryption and most importantly to us, audit trails.

#### Cons

As an admin, there was a learning curve during set up. Templates and workflows can be difficult to set up at first, however once set up, they are simple to replicate. Unfortunately, there can be issues and bugs which often times can be traced back to how the client is trying to open/e-sign but it can be difficult to explain virtually.

#### Reasons for choosing Docusign

We considered using Adobe Sign however deployment was much more difficult than DocuSign and is not as widely recognized.

#### Reasons for switching to Docusign

The switch was made because DocuSign is ultimately the most well known and well understood product on the market.

#### Cons

DocuSign has become a very essential tool in my line of work as a lecturer especially because i have a lot of documents that i need to sign. I use it to sign documents electronically using e-signatures rather than using the handwritten signatures which caused my desk to be full of manual paperwork waiting to be signed. Now with DocuSign, i just receive a digital document and sign it conveniently and reshare it back. With DocuSign, i have been able to both improve the documents signing speed allowing to get my signing work completed in short period of time and also simplified my signing experience by making it more convenient as i can sign documents from anywhere at any time.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5

#### Pros

As a lecturer, i usually have loads of documents that need to be signed and having DocuSign has simplified how i handle these signing tasks by making it possible for me to use e-signatures rather than handwritten ones which used to take a lot of my time. DocuSign offers great documents preparation features which allows me to keep all the documents that needs signing well organized, allowing me to have a clear overview of which documents are already signed and which ones are on the waitlist. I also like the advanced security features offered in DocuSign including multifactor authentication which help ensure that only me can access and sign documents. DocuSign also has a direct share feature which makes it easy to share or transfer documents directly after signing them. It has a very friendly user interface that makes it easy to add new signature fields on documents using drag and drop technology.

#### Cons

I have been fully impressed by the quality of services i have been getting from DocuSign and i have not found anything to dislike about it so far. It has been easy to work with and all the features offered have been very useful.

DocuSign has fundamentally changed how we handle business contracts. What used to be a fragmented, slow process printing, scanning, following up, all is now a streamlined workflow that practically runs itself. Document management is clean and well-organized, tracking is effortless, and the platform rarely gives you a reason to complain. Customer support has been responsive on the few occasions we've needed it. The return on investment becomes obvious very quickly. For any team dealing with a high volume of contracts, this isn't just a nice-to-have; it's essential infrastructure.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Now, the moment a document goes out, the entire chain moves on its own — reminders fire automatically, signing order is enforced, and nothing slips through the cracks. The template system is a particular standout; once a contract format is saved, spinning up a new agreement takes under two minutes. The audit trail on every document also gives you rock-solid accountability without any extra effort on your part.

#### Cons

Honestly, nothing significant has gotten in the way of day-to-day use. If I had to nitpick, the pricing tiers could be more transparent for teams scaling up, but it hasn't been a dealbreaker given the time it saves.

Overall, my experience with DocuSign has been really positive. It makes getting documents signed quick and easy, without having to deal with printing, scanning, or chasing people down. The interface is pretty straightforward, and I like being able to see the status of documents at a glance. It’s also convenient that everything can be handled online from pretty much anywhere. There are a few features that take some getting used to, but overall, DocuSign saves a lot of time and makes the whole signing process feel much less stressful.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

DocuSign has been a really great tool for getting documents signed without all the usual hassle. It’s super convenient, easy to use, and saves a ton of time compared to printing, scanning, and emailing paperwork back and forth. I like how straightforward the whole process is, and the notifications make it easy to keep track of what’s been signed and what still needs attention. Overall, it makes handling documents feel quick and stress-free. Definitely a solid option if you want a simple way to manage electronic signatures!

#### Cons

One downside with DocuSign is that the pricing can feel a little high, especially if you only need it occasionally. Some of the more advanced features are also limited depending on the plan you’re using. It’s easy enough to use overall, but there can be a bit of a learning curve when you start exploring all the different options. Still, if you regularly need documents signed, the convenience definitely makes it worthwhile.

DocuSign is an excellent solution to get down to business in an expedited manner. As an ML consultant, as I am, it makes you appear professional to your clients. You need not bother about paper or scanning. Everybody already knows about it, and thus nobody raises inquiries when you send a DocuSign link.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5

#### Pros

I find myself making frequent use of DocuSign when beginning a new project with my clients. As a Machine Learning Consultant, I would need to sign numerous NDA papers and contracts until I will be presented with any data. And the best thing is that it is extremely fast. All I do is to upload my contract and check the place where I would like the signature and send it.

#### Cons

The price is the chief among the things that I do not like. To an individual solo worker or a couple of people who work a small group, it is rather costly each month. A second, occasionally the interface of setting the document is a bit sluggish.

I like that DocuSign has stayed consistent over the past 5+ years. I also like that it is very easy to use for my stakeholders and external users. I feel that my completed envelopes are safe and secure. I don't often run into bugs or other issues. I feel that the value is appropriate for the money we spend.

#### Cons

I don't know that DocuSign has made meaningful UI or feature updates in the last 5+ years. I'll also explicitly say that their team is entirely unhelpful. I have reached out for customer support many times and have gotten the run around. It feels like they are just trying to sell me on more of their features and workflows, not solve my current issue, which is often time sensitive.

The platform has been dependable, customer support has been helpful when needed, and it fits smoothly into my daily workflow. It has saved me a lot of time and has made the signature process way more efficient.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

#### Pros

I really like how easy Docusign is to use. Sending documents out for signatures only takes a few clicks, and the workflow management keeps everything organized so nothing gets missed. I also like being able to track where each document is in the signing process. The system is reliable, saves time, and feels worth the money because it cuts out a lot of extra steps. It makes document management simple even for people who aren’t very tech savvy.

#### Cons

The only downside I’ve noticed is that sometimes documents can take a little while to load, and every now and then a signer runs into a minor issue depending on their browser. It’s not common, but it can slow things down. I also think the price could be a bit more flexible for smaller teams.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

#### Pros

Docusign provides an easy paperless way of signing documents. It also allows users to timestamp their signature so that the date and time are recorded along with the signature or initials. Additionally, when multiple signatures are needed, Docusign simplifies this procedure by automatically sending the document to the next person whose signature is needed. This helps to avoid documents getting lost in the shuffle or forgotten about.

#### Cons

I prefer when people use a digital copy of their actual signature rather than just their name typed out; I feel that the typed name could be more easily used fraudulently.

There is an option within Docusign to create your own signature by drawing it which did not break my mouse. At least there is some comfort knowing that Docusign will work as needed and the customer support is there when I need it.

#### Cons

To say that I am underwhelmed by the pricing structure for plans (without a "free" subscription) is a gross understatement. As much as I dislike being unable to customize the content of emails that Docusign sends to my clients, I hate how they appear as spam.

My overall experience with Docusign has been very positive. It has helped simplify contract management and makes it easy to obtain signatures electronically. The platform is reliable, secure, and easy for recipients to use, even if they have never signed documents electronically before. I’ve found it especially useful for sales agreements, contracts, and business documentation where convenience is important. For organizations looking to modernize their document signing process, Docusign is a dependable and professional solution.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I liked most about Docusign is how easy it makes the document signing process for both senders and recipients. The platform is intuitive, user-friendly, and significantly reduces the time required to collect signatures compared to traditional paper-based processes. I also appreciate the ability to track document status in real time, send automated reminders, and securely store completed agreements. The integrations with business tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft SharePoint to help streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

#### Cons

One downside with Docusign is that pricing can become expensive for smaller businesses or teams that may require advanced features, multiple users, or higher document volumes. Some customization and workflow automation capabilities are also reserved for higher-tier plans.

My overall experience with DocUsign has been great. A trustworthy application to aid me in my everyday paperwork and forwarding.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

By far, the most beneficial feature is the preset documents that are able to be loaded in/ sent to clients. This improves efficiency by an untold amount. Sending intakes, contracts or forms for review takes minutes. What I also like is that in the case of an error, or fellow peer review: a quick edit or correction is always possible.

#### Cons

My least favorite trait is that some fields remain as a requirement. If this is an internal setting: please disregard. If however, this is an area of improvement, please note. This would be the only source of feedback: to allow the docUsigns to be sent without requiring all fields to be filled out.
