Pros
- We've been using Firmex as our M&A data room for over 5 years and I'm always impressed with the platform, the company's constant improvement, and the amazing customer service.
- Easy setup, great documentation, amazing customer support, and provide reliability for clients.
- Easy to use, clean, organized well. It's a great tool to keep track of files in a shared but secure place.
Cons
- Sometimes difficulty with users not receiving their invitation emails, the inability to assign different permission levels to different members within a group.
- Attaching a newer version of a document can be difficult at times due to having to change the file name manually.
- Could add some additional document restriction features.
Pros
- I was really impressed with the quality and ease of use for the site. Our banker commented that it was the best and most professiona data room that they had been invited to use.
- Is an easy to use product, with all the necessary functionalities for a data room provider, good customer service and fantastic price to quality relation versus their main competitors.
- Great responsiveness of project managers; I like the simplicity; Overall great experience.
Cons
- Limitation of file types and the lack of granular user and user group administration.
- It's very difficult find a lack in every side of Ideals.
- The lack of capacity to replicate the same file on multiple folders.
