Pros/Cons
Pros
- This is an excellent product and it is very easy to learn how to use with very good almost instant support when needed.
- I love being able to publish to the Cloud and then share the link with only specific people. It is both secure and easily available to users.
- Our experience with Flipping Book has been fantastic. We've used it for several years and are very proud of how our magazines turn out when set up in Flipping Book.
Cons
- A lot of our customers had issues reading PDFs and when we displayed them on our website they looked ugly.
- Limited space, no manipulation of content once uploaded.
- I have had issues with uploading pdf files and some of the pages having odd screens or boxes on them, which makes me have to troubleshoot and figure out how to get the pages to look correct.
Pros
- We have received really great feedback from our Members and feel that it adds a great avenue to compile lots of information in one spot and in appealing formats and templates.
- The overall value for money of this software is good and the help/support has been excellent. Queries are dealt with quickly and with clear results.
- We loved the ease of use and the great customer service on the platform as well as how easy and secure the payment portal was.
Cons
- Our existing newsletter is out dated and boring, plus some users were having trouble viewing or printing it. Flipsnack fixed that problem quickly and relatively easily.
- The flashing targets (from a marketing perspective) can ruin an entire look and feel of a layout. If you made invisible areas we could direct readers to click on products.
- I find the editor clunky and less than intuitive. Simply trying to add a line of text and a link is confusing.
