We've been using Logical Doc for several years now and we are very happy with the product. Its a big step up from basic permissions on a network filesystem.

The failure was, as it turns out not the fault of LogicalDoc, but due to the lack of error messages in the log I did not know what the real prblem was, only that the update did not work.

Using LogicalDOC with MessageExport plugin (3rd paty) I was able to dump the entire e-mail database and import it directly into LogicalDDOC.

After sending in the logs from the failed install, I had a tech support representative from LogicalDoc loginto the server and go through some trouble shooting steps.

Input Forms is very simple No GUI interface available. Multi Record Entry is Very difficult as every single cell need to be entered instead of Row.

As stated, based on the functionality a few years ago, we cut back our implementation and only used the system for our accounting data.

DMS has good looking and fast web interface. Web services API works perfectly.

In general, this is a great intuitive document management solution company with a great product and an excellent support team.

An incredible commercial version that works absolutely perfect. I had a small inconvenience due to a mistake of mine I wasn't able to figure out and the Customer Service was fantastic too.

My organisation is  glad to use LogicalDoc document management solution. It provided us easy access, quick retrieval and overall information managment.

Since using the product we have utilised the APIs for a couple of our inbuilt products with ease thanks to LogicalDOC's support team.

The biggest challenge we have had with the software is lack of a backup package with initial installation. Backup addon costs the same as the business license which does not make alot of sense.

The problem's solutions are usually on the internet. But it can not be detected problems led to the crisis in the company.

I like the ability to be to access shared documents and edit them with ease. The learning curve is tuff, but well worth the effort.

The ability to collaborate on files at the same time has been a big win for my team. We can now work on a project and divide and conquer.

Flaws: Very slow response time, lags, often freezes. The site is down about once a month which is very frustrating.

It's not at all intuitive and users have too many options to create their own system. This just ends up in a mess that is difficult to manage or takes a lot of effort to do so.

The simplicity and ease of access makes SharePoint a brilliant tool to collaborate from anywhere around the world.

Overall SharePoint has been a great and secure tool for file sharing and working with multiple members in the team. The interface is also intuitive and that contributes to its usefulness.

The search feature does not work too well and we find it odd that you have to open a text file and then open it again to edit it.

As it is a web platform, it has some integration problems, in some browsers it has layout error, delay in loading script and etc.

I most enjoy the easy user interface on SharePoint. Collaboration tools and customizable templates make creating,  organizing, sharing, and selling projects easy, stress-less, and fun.

Security management, asset library, and effective document management are just a few of the amazing features. It integrates well with Office 365 products.

Inability to drag and drop. At times only option is to download or upload files on to SharePoint.

The customer interface is pretty good, it is easy to use, do it's good for a file edited by a team.

We need to depend on Microsoft support team for troubleshooting issues by providing the correlation id of the issues. The 5000 row limit of the List is the most annoying limitation of the SharePoint.

It was a good entry point, and nice that it integrated with Office 360 - that made it somewhat seamless to use.
