We have translated our application into three languages in under 3 months with Phraseapp. We are now able to edit all our content in English without the need of a developer. We have one place for everything and can easily search to make sure wording is consistent across our platform.

The in-context editor is really useful for the first leg of translations. From there, the filtering and edibility makes it really easy to keep up with new translations and edit strings. The reporting tab makes it extremely easy to track the work of each translator so they can invoice at the end of the month. No need to keep track of each request as it's all calculated by the tool.

The notifications are not yet optimal for clearly telling myself and the translators what needs to be actioned or reviewed.

It is extremely easy to use both for technical and less technical profiles.

In context editor doesn't work for certain modals. Structuring the keys only possible via tags.

The interface is easy to use, not complicated, the white color looks professional and clean

Sometimes it is hard to find what has been missed in the notifications.

Exportations of translated strings are very fast and easy. There's a very high number of settings that you can use to suit your needs. Link sharing makes the coordination of departments very easy and efficient. I could not do without anymore.

It's easy to use! For such a complete tool, you get your way round pretty easily and its design is modern enough.

I would have liked some tutorials or permanent chat. I'm sure there are many great functions I don't know about.

If you had slow internet it would take time to update all the necessary phrases on another language, there are no translation hints available from start only suggestions from translated content

I am using phrase app from last 3 years. My experience is great from starting. It make it easy to add/update localizable string. Customer support is also very good.

Some time phrase app script fail while using over VPN.

Using PhraseApp has greatly improved our workflow for translations. Everything has become much more streamlined and has allowed our development release cycle to stay on target whilst included new translations.

Settings up jobs for specific feature builds on our app. Branching also looks like it will be very useful for our workflow in the future

Overall, I found the product to be a little expensive.

Just integrate this and forget about the bugs related to localization. Saves a lot of my team's time.

Script integration in xcode. Sometimes its hard to understand the script.

We have a great experience with PhraseApp here at Xing SE. I wouldn't imagine how it would be to manage the integration between the copy department and software development without PhraseApp!

The ability to approve and disapprove the translations, to copy translations and mostly to have all the language variations for a text grouped together. I use Ruby on Rails and each language has a different translation file, PhraseApp makes everything better to mantain.

The lack of grouping and scoping each translation. For Rails applications we can have several translations scoped under time, for instance. Managing translations for models validation messages, with Rails conventions, is also harder to do.

Multi-language application on multiple platforms.

Overall Phraseapp is really easy to use across the business, end users can also easy update content. The API integration makes it easy for us to get the latest files into our app builds.

Pricing plans could be more competitive.

As a software developer, it was incredibly easy to both implement and maintain. They have a ton of developer-focused features.

The GitHub integration wasn't fully fleshed out. We have to do some things manually, but it's not bad.

Pricing does not make much sense for team with few localization devs and many (50+) developers, who are using PA very irregularly - some few times a week, some few times a year

As we have different projects that contains multiple languages, the biggest advantage if PhraseApp is to manage all of them on one place and it is easy to access by every team member to give input and to the transaction. This helps to speed up the delivery and of course the quality of our products.

What I like best is the translation suggestion and versioning of the changes. It helps our team member to collaborate in an easy way and provide quick feedback on the translations.

Actually what we`re missing is some kind of reporting functions. Besides that we didn`t really find a weakness right now.
