Quip has great integration, it's a great platform for project management and customer service is great.

Quip is frustrating because it's really clunky and restrictive.

Quip is free/inexpensive. And it's easy to add people, so collaboration is a breeze.

Absolutely happy how it worked for our company with Quip. It was also a big help to find everything I needed when I joined the company.

Another nice feature of this tool is that you can mention people in the document and assign them to some action.

Quip UI is really smooth, and feels new! it has a good functionality to provide the revision history for the document, which I think is very useful.

I think the UI is missing basic functionality. It is hard to revert to an old version or it can get slow if too many people are using it at once.

Great For Large Teams - Pricing Prohibitive For Small Business.

First to start off their customer service is phenomenal, lots of follow up and FAQ information at your fingertips. I enjoy that they integrate well with salesforce.

I like that it's secure but its not that intuitive or easy to use. I wish it were because the security is a good feature.

Quip as a great collaboration and organizing tool.

Software and/or updates can sometimes be slow or laggy. Other than this, I can not think of any other problems we have ran into.

I really hate how embedded images work. It's bordering on impossible to make it look how you want and you'll have to compromise on it looking sort of crappy.

There's only a limited level of customization available for users.

Sometimes it is hard to undo your action for example by mistake if you delete anything in a doc, the normal undo command does not work.

The design and layout is superb, I specifically love how you can folders visually and it is attractive.

First time using Quip, easy to use and adaptable.

I like working with Quip, because of the fuss-free UI, it's just a simple slate where you can integrate tasks, spreadsheets, code snippets and many more. You can add comments and have version control.

Overall good platform for what we need and really appreciate the transparency it provides for our projects.

For collaborative document sharing, editing and creation, Quip is a solid choice especially if you rely on integration with Salesforce data.

I like being able to literally cross off your list of todos,  It's nice to see a task completed with a nice strike through it.

Sometimes some features are lost because you don't find where to use those.

I enjoy working with Quip as it is very easy to use and it has a lot of features and tools not only for time management, project planning it is also very helpful for online collaboration.

The fact that everything is there and it's secure and I'm always adding to it makes it more valuable for me and my team every day. Especially when I can pull up costs or ideas when out and about.

Occasionally can be tricky to find things unless you have the exact product code or if you are looking for some lifestyle shoot imagery of a particular shoe.

Our DAM houses all of the images we use in our catalogs and online. I love it's ability to organize and tag image in order to search for them with ease.

From the beginning, I have 100% loved every experience I have encountered with Widen. I absolutely love everything about your company's history and philosophy.

Finding documentation seems to be difficult. Not sure if it the actual software or if it is the manner is which our company set it up.

Ability to convert assets to other formats. Cost is based on space not users, which is helpful in a many-user environment.

It is difficult to customize fields and search for previous items could be simplified.

The DAM interface is quick and easy to use, the reporting capabilities are robust, and the security allows a lot of flexibility.

The many API's and connectors Widen offers as well as the permission roles for users. The roles works very well for our users and helps us to control and monitor the level access to specific assets.

We are able to quickly and easily share digital assets with customers, coworkers, etc. all in one spot.

Easy to Use and Cost Effective. Provides almost instant access to all of our digital assets to our internal and external customers around the globe.

I love that I can easily store all of my content in the system, then make a website like portal to share and organize my content in a neat way.

Overall, I've found Widen to be easy to use and a good option for asset management.

Made Our Commercial Archive Pretty and User Friendly.

You can find whatever you want in seconds, also you can filter as much as you need and the best thing that I love is the option to create your own collection. This function is so helpful.

Widen is a terrific tool for our global team. We are able to have 24/7 access to all our assets no matter where we are in the world.

Ease of use and good customer service. This dashboard is legit.

We are able to archive and distribute thousands of marketing assets to a global audience very efficiently and with a sufficient amount of protection and guidance about proper usage.

Hard to do advanced searching with filters—they work in kind of a frustrating way that's hard to explain succinctly.

I can easily upload assets of all types. Tagging them, filling out the metadata, and putting longform descriptions in each asset makes it really easy for people to find what they are looking for.

Great customer service and good product that makes it easy.

Widen has been a great partner to work with on our new Digital Asset Management. The implementation process is very smooth and straightforwards.

Sometimes it gives corrupted error. I wished it could have given the corrupt error while I am uploading files.

Because of such wonderful management, you know how to treat a customer.

I know that this has to do with the upload metadata and probably is related to user error. Perhaps if there was a more automated way to add search criteria when uploading, this wouldn't be an issue.

We no longer have to search through a messy drive to find product images, marketing materials and more.

It's works great, the API documentation is good and Widen has given excellent support on it.

Quip is a cloud-based project management and task collaboration solution that help users work together and communicate without emails. Users can create and edit spreadsheets, documents and checklists in the system, and team members can chat and comment on files in real time. The solution is also available for on-premise deployment.


With Quip’s team chat feature, users can create different chat rooms on different topics, and there are discussion threads for each document. Users can attach documents to chats, and the document will appear by the chat, so users can chat and view documents at once. Quip’s task list offers personal to-do lists, project milestones and priorities lists and allows users to check off finished tasks. When tasks are checked off, other team members are automatically informed.


Quip offers dedicated apps for iOS and Android. Users can also work offline, and documents can be synced in the system when internet connection gets re-established.
