iMeet Central is a project management software that helps businesses plan projects and collaborate with staff members on task assignments. The platform allows teams to manage document routing and approval workflows.

Administrators can organize, edit, share and store documents on a unified interface. Additionally, iMeet Central enables managers to generate reports and Gantt charts to track progress across projects.

iMeet Central offers an application programming interface (API), which lets businesses integrate the system with several third-party applications including Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and NetSuite. Pricing is based on monthly subscriptions.

Excellent addition

Pros

iMeet has been a lifesaver for team projects on such a large campus. The user interface is wonderful and can be used on multiple devices.

Cons

So far there is nothing I dislike about iMeet and have not encountered any issues since using it in our department.

Wonderfully easy solution for collaboration and for intranet

iMeetCentral goes a long way toward keeping my projects well coordinated within my team.

Pros

I have a small digital advertising agency and iMeetCentral makes it very easy to create a project area for each client with access available for the client and to the correct team members from my own company. It's also worked well for storing confidential administrative files for running my business since the user access levels are well defined and it has a honeycombed structure.

Cons

Sharing files with client from iMeetCentral is easy but some clients share files with me from Google Docs which of course creates some clutter in regard to the location of things. The value of iMeetCentral directly relates to how much it is used. For me it's great value since I use it for organizing my own team and sharing files within my own team, not just with clients.

Fullsuite lightweight online collaboration platform

We used iMeet Central for over 10 years and were very happy with it as a collaboration and project management tool for relatively simple projects and workflows. The product was amazing about 5-10 years ago. Since then, we've outgrown the features and had to upgrade to something more comprehensive. At the same time, nowadays there are more modern solutions in the market.

Pros

1. Easy to learn and use even for beginners 2. Easy to set up and implement for small teams 3. Integrated simple online database

Cons

1. Features are only good for small teams and relatively simple projects & workflows 2. Limited customizability or extensibility beyond standard features 3. Hasn't kept up with UI/UX standards of state-of-the-art competitor products

It works but it is clunky

We manage all of our engagements as well as accounting here.

Pros

We have been using it for 8 years and it is stable and does all the basic functions we need well. It, however, has evolved little in that time.

Cons

It is not as intuitive as I would like, so when we share workspaces with clients, they almost always don't use it as they are not willing to invest the time to realize its benifits.

Increased productivity, decreased administrative time, and bridging the virtual gap.

iMeet solves our virtual meeting room needs, screenshare capabilities, and most importantly, the ability to work across great distances. With its adoption, we have been able to hire across physical landscapes, and coordinate with clients face to face despite the physical barriers. Meeting setup time has decreased, and hiring takes on a new form with video instead of just audio.

heavy daily user of central desktop

Highly recommend this for any team that needs to get organized and out from under a pile of saved emails!

Pros

I use CD multiple times daily for calendar, document reference, research collaboration, secure data storage, and personal use areas. I could not survive without it! I also find the ability to email discussions and documents to convenient online storage a big help. And the flash viewer lets me quickly browse files without having to download files and open word or ppt every time just to get a quick look.

Cons

requires my IT department to avoid accidentally blocking it on web access

Central Desktop?

Highly recommended. Great product at a reasonable price!

Pros

Great team collaboration product. Very helpful for tracking tasks and noting things planned in the future so you don't lose them when don't have time to complete immediately.

Cons

Sometimes hard to find which workspace/folder something is stored in (although great search tools are available if you know what to search for).
