All Integrated, All in One
SAP SRM gives you vendor master data as well as vendor behaviour and forecasting vendor buying and paying behavour. Easily integrates with other SAP products and updates real time. Also usable by purchasing and supply planning departments in vendor contracts such as terms, discounts, and pricings.
CONSSAP products are always hard to master and seting up a new profile takes time. Cannot be used in mobile, only desktop computer is needed.

SAP SRM Eprocurement Solution
This was a big step for our company as it reduced the paper work involved and the procure to pay process was more smooth and the use of shopping carts provides a better way of tracking progress of procurement
PROSIntegrates very well with existing SAP ERP and improves customer relationship with the company. The model of interaction of buyer side and seller side is a great step towards improving workflows. No extra licenses are required for users making it cost effective on a large scale.
CONSNeeds intensive training especially for people with no experience with using SAP systems. Customer support will be dependent on your knowledge of the issues or you may be dependent on a consultant.

The standardization of the software in most companies help to understand and master this application. The simple interface and the ability to customize is a huge plus.

SAP is a great way to function in a large corporation
All the features are excellent and stay up to date

Very well know dynamic product, just very pricey
This is a great product because of all the features it has, the abilities, and what you can do to export with it.
CONSLike any SAP, this is very expensive. You get what you pay for, but at times a small business will have difficulties justifying the cost.

Very nice, easy to use and execute
Its a very nice software which makes ones working easy and smooth. The process flow is simple and also the data saving feature is a real good feature.

Inventory Management made east
It has world class inventory management features, running reports is easy, help in auditing and compliance activities.
CONSI wish it to be more intuitive, lot of manual work is required to keep the records up to date.

Supplier Portal
Information sharing with vendors is being achieved through SAP-SRM
PROSI like the fact that it's connected with your own ERP system so real-time information can be shared with vendor partners from the SAP system. I personally shared MM module data.
CONSWhile it's very useful software, the interface is outdated. The information flow from SAP-ERP to SRM often gets stuck. Usage is not very intuitive.

Great SCM Software but its not the easiest way. Like other SAP family products
Unfortunately I left the company where I learned how to use this software, but The Management of the Supply Chain was very easy with some few clicks all the process around.
PROSAs all SAP products you will have all the control, on real time of your processes and company. This software will inform to all processes stages what to do, Purchasing, Loading, Shipping. Once you get over the learning curve, you will not want to use another software
CONSIt´s a expensive software not affordable for small companies or Industries. It´s not a friendly user software for beginners, you have to have some computer skills. It´s easibility depends of how the user will parametrize your process. The learning curve is a little bit long.

Quality ordering system
From an approver standpoint, users are quickly notified via email and can easily click a few buttons to move forward.
PROSThe software is integrated well with SAP and ESS which makes it simple and easy for user to order items and understand how to order these items
CONSFunctionality is dependent upon procurement contracts with vendors offering cloud-based ordering with cost benefit and sourcing savings

SAP SRM Review
Overall I would recommend SAP SRM as it makes it easy to manage vendors and process orders.
PROSThis software integrates well with other SAP products and is similar in layouts so is easy to pick up.
CONSOne thing with SAP SRM is that it takes a while to set up your profile and save the vendors that you use most often.

Integration for all the company
In my short time using SAP this has been an excellent tool that connects the supply chain network from either the supplier or the plant to the customer. Great flexibility to adapt to the different changes on a daily basis. Really intuitive tool which one you learn every day something new.
CONSShort session time, some times you have a call or something to do out of SAP and then when you back your session is closed.

Wide variety of authorised suppliers to choose from, Better collaboration with suppliers and quote making got easy.
CONSUser interface is one thing I don't like with SAP applications those are not that appealing.

It's a good application to generate buy orders.
I've made a lot of buying through this application giving good results and leaving tracks of the process.
PROS- It has a providers backup that helps you find providers registered without having code. - You just need 1 explanation to understand SRM buying process.
CONS- In my company it's configured to have a lot of approval levels, so it takes too many time to finish a buying process.

I am not a power user of SAP. The functions I use had to be created custom. I have found that whenever I have a special need, it takes time to be created. For basic meeting our business needs, the system is very good.

SAP Supply Chain Management
This program has a ton of features to help with supply chain management. MRP function is one of the best I have used. It takes some learning to get all of the functions down but once you do the program runs flawlessly.

This Program Needs an Overhaul
There support is very lacking and slow
