Huge Time Saver For Commissions

Great solution, good interface, reliable service, saves us a lot of time every week. An Excel auto-convert feature would be a killer addition to a great solution.

PROS

I am responsible for calculating sales commissions in my organization. This was taking about 10 hours every week. Even though it's possible to calculate commissions manually AND accurately, the main issue was the constant need for adjustments (ex: a deal did not go through, refund, etc.). As a result, we had to re-issue commissions frequently, and over time it became unmanageable to track everything. Using Sales Cookie, we're now able to automate the entire process, but we can still make changes to commissions if needed. There is a very convenient "activity center" in app where we can see all the changes made by anyone to comp plans, commissions, etc. I also like the different roles provided by the application because management of some plans can be delegated so specific managers. Finally our sales team is happy with their online statement. This is much better than before as we had to repeat sending spreadsheets to every rep.

CONS

I wish they had a way to take any Excel spreadsheet and auto-convert to one of the incentive plans. The process required first analyzing and documenting our sales commission process (probably a good think but it took some time as our commissions are quite complicated).

Sales Cookie Review

PROS

The most impactful features are definitely the timeliness for the reports. They are never late, and always accurate. The filters are great - you can select by the month, and for specific categories (Core, Ancillary, etc.).

CONS

It's a little difficult to navigate. To this day, it's still hard to get used to, and I've been using it for 6 months. If there was a tutorial or something similar, I think that would streamline it's usage.

Reasons for switching to Sales Cookie

Still use Agency Bloc for our client data base, but we don't rely on them anymore for our Commission structure.

Sales Cookie Review

PROS

Sales cookie is a complete life saver for us when it comes to calculating the commission and incentives. Previously this task was so tedious as we were using excel sheet and doing it manually, now with sales cookie we can easily calculate it for different levels and different percentage.

CONS

Its user interface could have been better and reporting tools too but overall this is a great tool to work with.

Best Compensation Managment Software

We have automated all the manual complex process that used to take us several hours to complete each month and fixed our commission Faults and provided visibility to our Sales team and we can manage all of our sales commissions in one place which helps us in automating the manual handling of commissions.

PROS

Sales Cookie's integration with Quickbooks has made our commission calculations more easier and faster. And on the rare occasions when some issue arises their tech support team is incredibly responsive, providing unparalleled assistance and the flexibility of the platform is truly priceless in our work, Which helps us to tailor it to our specific needs and segmentation.

CONS

Sales cookie is one of the deep most software that has impressed me, and I can't find anything negative to say about it. Perhaps it could be even more useful if you guys provide training or guidance for some of the advanced analytical capabilities, such as bespoke sales reports, especially for users like us who are just getting started with these features.

Good Visibility On Commissions

Overall: - Fast deployment (one week) - Good visibility on commissions - Better reporting for our Finance team - Pleasant look-and-feel

PROS

We discovered Sales Cookie at a conference and deployed it within a week! The main advantage of the solution is visibility on commissions. Our entire team can see how they are performing vs. targets, what their commission will look like, and crediting of deals. So far commissions have been reported. Our finance team can also run reports to check everything is correct. What this means is that for the first time in months we're now getting paid our commissions on time which wasn't the case before. Overall this type of solution makes a lot of sense and we wish we had learned this type of software existed much earlier.

CONS

It's difficult to know if Sales Cookie is really better than other solutions on the market because you need to invest some time in configuration, etc. So you can't explore too many solutions. Regardless, the price is affordable and we like the look-and-feel and visiblility.

Sales Cookie - A Sales Commission Platform

Any organization that wishes to simplify the processing of commissions and increase transparency with their sales personnel should consider Sales Cookie.

PROS

At our organization, we were wasting a lot of time and resources on manual spreadsheet labor before we implemented this. After deployment, we made great strides because it was simple to process benefits and compensation for different personnel. It makes it simple to advance and enables for the defining of goals for different employee levels.

CONS

To fully achieve the initial change to this platform, extensive and intensive training is required. I also had to set up the link to Quickbooks.

Sales Cookie Helps Me Stay Motivated

I rely on Sales Cookie to tell me how I'm doing and budget accordingly based on my expected sales commission. The support team is also a pleasure to work with with super-fast response times. Thank you!

PROS

Before Sales Cookie, I used to get a spreadsheet with my commissions at the end of the month. So basically I had zero information on how I was doing for the whole month. I also had to spend time checking everything was correct which took time (and required help from Finance to make corrections). With Sales Cookie, I can check real-time where I'm ata in regards to commissions. I am also able to submit requests for corrections from within the app. Also it's a lot easier to understand where the commissions came from as you can export the data, etc. Finally, I use my cell quite a bit and the app works well for this use case.

CONS

A 4G or internet connection is required to see commissions using a cellphone. There is no "offline mode" which would be handy when there is no connectivity. It would be wonderful if you could add this. Also I would love to be able to add "widgets" to my dashboard such as reminders, pinned notes, etc.

Invest in what your sales team / reps care about most

It has been super smooth!

PROS

It's a simple to use tool for end-users (sales reps) that is critical to keeping them motivated and focused on selling. Reps hate not knowing what their next paycheck will look like or feeling like it might not be accurate. Sales Cookie provides crystal clear insight in how much and how it was calculated. Must have for sales teams.

CONS

In honesty it's a bit of a pain that it's yet another software with a separate login- but otherwise it's a very useful tool.

A Strong & Reasonable Solution to Managing Commissions

In terms of customer support and experience, Sales Cookie has been second to none. It's their people ([SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]) that had me choose them over 4 other contenders.

PROS

By far, the support staff behind this product (in our case [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]) is the single biggest pro of Sales Cookie. The product itself is a good product that is capable of doing what we need but [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in particular is outstanding!!!

CONS

Our plan requires a fair bit of flexibility and variable logic and the connection with Salesforce could be better. If we could have a sort of "report builder" feature where we can pre-select which fields are exported in which order, it would be perfect.

Take back your time and use Sales Cookie

I really feel like Sales Cookie has been a great partner to help us reduce time on payroll. The team that I have worked with; [SENSITIVE CONTENT] are the best. I have never had partners be so on top of their game like they are.

PROS

I like how much time it cuts out of payroll each week.

CONS

It's probably due to my own lack of reaching out to get trained on more in depth features of the tool. I think it can probably do just about anything someone would want it to. I feel like it gets underutilized in part because we don't have the API set up to automate it more.

Reason for choosing Sales Cookie

I don't remember at this point all of the different options I looked at for a solution. I just remember when I saw the demo of Sales Cookie I knew they were the right fit for my company.

Sales Cookie - overindulgent and sophisticated sales commission management solution

My overall experience with Sales Cookie is a favorable one. The easy and practical interface allows me to use the tool with ease. Incentive plans can easily be created and customized. Data can be analysed in real time to determine current state.

PROS

Sales Cookie is a cloud-based solution that allows me to work remotely with ease. It is capable of designing and managing sales incentive plans that are realistic and achievable. Personalized dashboards can be created for each employee, and can include specific goals and rewards. This enables a commission structure that is well designed and attainable.

CONS

There are no features that I have encountered thus far which were unfavorable. Sales Cookie is effective and reliable, and saves a lot of time by streamlining the processes.

A lot more visibility on commissions

Regarding the overall experience: - Clear quotas and goals - Access to current and past commissions - Improved ability to measure progress - Saves time and motivates me

PROS

The personal dashboard helps me track my commissions (current and past). I can easily export a list of deals assigned to me and review my progress towards quota attainment. Also like the fact that I can submit requests using the app (beats sending emails to finance). The dashboard is a significant improvement over the confusing commission statements we used to receive via email.

CONS

Provided commission statements are quite clear, but I wish there was a more detailed breakdown of how commissions were calculated (ex: exact formulas used).

Very handy sales commission tool

PROS

Definitely the ease of use. My company introduced Sales Cookie just over 6 months ago and it has transformed a once tedious task into a streamlined process.

CONS

There was a minor issue with set up but the support team were super friendly and helped fixed the problem immediately.

Sales best friend

I would recommend Sales Cookie to any company that wants to streamline their commissions processing and transparency with their sales teams.

PROS

Easy to use and navigate and provides great historic data if necessary to review.

CONS

I've not used anything outside of excel sheets so I'm unable to give you an informed opinion. I think Sales Cookie has been very helpful and I would champion this product in the future.

What I like most about the Sales Cookie software is the ease of use. It's very straightforward and easy to unnderstand.

CONS

What I like least about the software is that in the commissions tabe it does lack info like detailed info about specific commissions.

Helps my team focus on sales goals

Sales Cookie has brought much needed clarity regarding incentives for our reps. It has increased sales motivation and makes our company feel more professional because we're one of the few with sales commission automation. I didn't know about this type of solution until about 3 months ago but would recommend this as an obvious investment to any sales team as it pays for itself.

PROS

Here are some pros I really like: - My team can view their progress / commissions real-time - I no longer need to print or email commission spreadsheets - It's easy to make announcements about new incentives, goals, etc. - My team sees Sales Cookie as a major perk and uses the application daily - I've seen a reduction in disputes regarding payouts

Here are some cons I have identified: - The application is web-based (not a desktop app) - They only support a few payroll systems

Very positive experience so far!

Sales Cookie has helped us a lot by centralizing and simplifying our incentive plans and automating our calculations. Before this, we managed everything in Google sheets, which had version control issues and were error prone. Now we have a centralized online solution that supports a variety of complex needs including draws, user-specific metrics, quarterly plans with monthly payouts and more..

PROS

The technical team is very knowledgeable and imported our data and created our plans free of charge. I like the logical and clean UI for the administrators and reps. The solution controls access based on a need to know basis and they host your data securely on the cloud. They also log all commission adjustments for future review.

CONS

Hard to find many cons, perhaps integrations with more CRMs or other tools could help automate some workflows.

Sales cookie met all our needs!

We have automated the manual cumbersome process that used to take us several hours to complete each month, fixed our commission errors and provided visibility to our Sales team.

PROS

Automation was key for us as we are a fast growing SaaS Company. Sales Cookie met all our requirements at a very attractive price. With dozens of payees (AEs, SDRs, CSMs, etc.), this solution was a game changer! It has so much functionality and has helped streamline our processes compared to the Google spreadsheets we had to distribute and edit every month.

CONS

Our Sales management team has less direct control over changing the comp plan parameters but having them go through a centralized administrator has inserted more discipline into our processes which will serve us well as we grow.
