The software is extremely unreliable, half of the time you get server errors or the whole platform is down. There is also very little customization built into the platform.

I enjoy HUG quite a lot. I think it leads by example and is easy to use.

The current library features are clunky and slightly difficult to use.

You really have to learn the back end of higher logic to make changes which can be very confusing.

I love how easily configurable this platform is and how extensively I am able to customize our brand through customization.

We chose to integrate directly using  activity sync and I am excited to see how these two products are able to work in tandem to drive behaviors and engagement.

They went above and beyond to understand our needs and help us develop the platform that worked for us. I would highly recommend Higher Logic an their team.

The lack of knowledge base will leave you cobbling together different features to try and create one.

ToucanTech are a very responsive company - they reply quickly and very helpfully to queries and feedback.

As with any software, human error can come into play.

It manages multiple functions which is great for a small office. The customisation is good and I have been impressed by the product enhancements and development since we started using the software.

Our previous database system was very limited and so all aspects of the Toucan Tech software are an imrovement for us.

Some of the advanced filters are difficult to master.

It can be frustrating having to enter the same address multiple times when adding details of a family.

The integration of our database was managed by the Toucan Tech support team and our IT department and and was fairly seamless and easy.

The system really allows the administrator to feel like they have both ownership of and a brilliant overview of their data.

We as a department are very pleased with ToucanTeach. It does what it says on the tin and more.

There are often small bugs or technical errors when using the 'advanced filters' to organise records for emails etc.

The benefits have been great, we invested at the same time as launching our bursary fund, so it's great to be working with super professional comms for this important group.

Report-writing can be tricky and not all fields are able to be selected. Sometimes the Toucan server can be slow to respond.

ToucanTech is user friendly with great functionality. Adding news, events and photos is so much quicker and easier than our previous system.

The weekly support emails are helpful and let you keep on top of new developments. Graphics are good, we have had good feedback about the 'look and feel' of communications from our alumnae community.

I like that you can customise the layout of the pages to suit your design needs. The advanced filter options to sort member data to choose a specific group is very useful.

It is pretty intuitive, but online / telephone support is good when needed. The team are very friendly and helpful, and will 'take over' the PC to talk you through solutions if necessary.

I love the mass email tool - which allows the creation of attractive emails and analysis of recipients' responsiveness to the content. I also love the integration of our website with the database.

I appreciated that It was easy to get started with basic features and that we can add in additional modules as we progress at no extra cost.
