  • Pros

  • The training and implementation of Advanced MD to our practice was seamless due to the excellent care of our trainer.
  • The salesman was excellent in selling this software and I was so hopeful that it would be beneficial to me and my practice. I was promised that it would be up and running withing 4-6 weeks.
  • Our clients appreciate this, as do we. Whenever we have issues, we do have the ability to suggest improvements to the system - which helps.
  • Cons

  • The training and implementation took 4 months and was very frustrating. Their reports are wrong when you analyze them in detail.
  • Speed degradation is common complain. Our Practice, and patients and staff suffer as a result, and we lost lot our reputation with Patients and big financial lose for practice.
  • I don't like that when you do a reversal on a unapplied payment and you make a mistake it is completely lost and you are unable to fix it.

  • The documentation works well with voice recognition and is very easy to use on daily and progress notes. The fax function works very well and appointment reminders is a nice feature.
  • I love the fact that it allows for clear, concise, and timely documentation. The reports are fabulous.
  • We have been using WebPT for over 6 months now and the transition could not have gone better. We elected to use Kareo for the ability of seamless documentation and billing - and highly recommend it.
  • Cons

  • None of my charges were going through due to EDI errors. No one knew what was happening so they had me complete the change over early.
  • More recently they are having problems with documenting cancellations and no shows which they were not even aware of.
  • Called and after a 45-minute wait no answers, just do the forms again or call the insurance companies. I could not submit charges for one MONTH.
