Pros/Cons
Pros
- The training and implementation of Advanced MD to our practice was seamless due to the excellent care of our trainer.
- The salesman was excellent in selling this software and I was so hopeful that it would be beneficial to me and my practice. I was promised that it would be up and running withing 4-6 weeks.
- Our clients appreciate this, as do we. Whenever we have issues, we do have the ability to suggest improvements to the system - which helps.
Cons
- The training and implementation took 4 months and was very frustrating. Their reports are wrong when you analyze them in detail.
- Speed degradation is common complain. Our Practice, and patients and staff suffer as a result, and we lost lot our reputation with Patients and big financial lose for practice.
- I don't like that when you do a reversal on a unapplied payment and you make a mistake it is completely lost and you are unable to fix it.
Pros
- The people at PrognoCIS have been easy to work with and very responsive. Very affordable compared to the other options and integrated telemedicine platform is a big plus.
- The nice thing is the customization, so if you know what you didn't like before, you can get this just where you want it. I'm impressed with the speed of the customization of forms, etc.
- Easy to Navigate, ability to move freely from EMR to Billing Feature. I love the Tabular reports which help in troubleshooting when staff has problems, also customer service is great.
Cons
- They charged out tens of thousands of bogus charges and collected 10. They charged me alot per month for this disaster.
- I'm unable to send patients an email to remind them about appointments or missed appointments, even women for their annual exams, such as "pap smear.
- Malleability; Many of the "Old" systems are stuck and struggling to be adaptable to the newer technologies.
