  • Pros

  • The training and implementation of Advanced MD to our practice was seamless due to the excellent care of our trainer.
  • The salesman was excellent in selling this software and I was so hopeful that it would be beneficial to me and my practice. I was promised that it would be up and running withing 4-6 weeks.
  • Our clients appreciate this, as do we. Whenever we have issues, we do have the ability to suggest improvements to the system - which helps.
  • Cons

  • The training and implementation took 4 months and was very frustrating. Their reports are wrong when you analyze them in detail.
  • Speed degradation is common complain. Our Practice, and patients and staff suffer as a result, and we lost lot our reputation with Patients and big financial lose for practice.
  • I don't like that when you do a reversal on a unapplied payment and you make a mistake it is completely lost and you are unable to fix it.

  • Customer support is wonderful. It's easy to navigate with great instructions right there.
  • We love the ability to configure Penelope to best fit our organization, and we look forward to the reporting updates in the near future.
  • Overall, there are a million types of software for mental health out there. And Penelope is a solid, experienced, reliable, excellent customer-service option that keeps getting better.

  • This software is not intuitive. It could be the way the administrator had it set up but it was extremely frustrating and confusing to use -- even after years of using it.
  • Lack of modern functionality, lack of communicating to customers, broken promises with timing.
  • When adding a photo under profile, the photo can't be seen 100% after it's downloaded. So for our restricted users, it's hard to view a client’s photo because only the forehead if visible.
